Restaurante Las Olas

Very nice experience and definitely worth it to visit when travelling through Santander. We ordered some monkfish and the bacalao salad (the 1/2 portion is already pretty big!) which were absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful and made the atmosphere feel welcoming. Will come again!!! ❤

I definitely recommend this restaurant! Oh my goodness, the food was so delicious, and the warm gluten-free bread was also easily available (like in all restaurants in Spain in general), which I actually never experienced in the U.S. (With good luck, only 1 restaurant/100 had it). I highly recommend and will return! Next time, I'll take photos of the food as well, promise!

We decided to go to "Las Olas" because we like seafood, it was nearby our hotel and the reviews were good. The scenery was nice; the staff didn't speak english but we managed to order what we liked. The scallops were exceptional; only this starter is worth eating to this restaurant. We like seafood and understand the taste and I can say that I haven't eaten such a tasty dish elsewhere; paella was very good as well. The quality/price ratio in this restaurant is really very good.

Great service, incredibly good food. The zamburiñas were life altering. I also had yummy cabracho, and perfectly cooked merluza plancha. And cheesecake… because I’m a glutton. All this and a great view! What’s not to love?

Great restaurant in Santander. Close to a small beach area, you can spend the day there and pop in for food.
Seafood and fish are amazing and recommended. A dish like the one in the pic (Jargo fish) was enough for 2 people. Their salads are great and quite big too, we ordered one "ensalada mixta" for 5 people. We drank some great sangria and homemade desserts were also superb.
It's a very popular spot so make sure you book a table well in advance specially if you intend to visit during the weekend

Lovely location, not expensive but quality food. Desert sizes are quite big, which is great for desert lovers and if u have extra ounce space left after a lavish lunch 😁.

Paella are quite big as well. We ordered 1 for every 2 person and turned out each one was sufficient for 3😅

Beautiful view from the terrace overlooking the ocean. We had zamburiñas and paella de marisco. Piña and tiramisú for desert. Everything was great. 100% recomended.

When my grandfather was a small boy he used to run from his house to the Maruca beach, then when he became an adult las Olas opened it's doors and he loved it since then, today we celebrated one year of my grandfathers passing at la Maruca and afterwards, the whole 50 people group went there for lunch ando can tell you that, it is as good as day one. Do not miss the opportunity to have one of the best local seafood experiences around if you happen to be passing by Maruca beach or Santander in general

Very good food. We had paella and we enjoyed every portion. The view is breathtaking and easy to park. Not easy to find though. I recommend it

Cuenta con un parking en las cercanias, se ha de reservar sino es muy complicado tener sitio.

En cuanto a la comida las raciones son generosas, os recomiendo pedir medias raciones para picar y ya un plato fuerte.

Tanto los arroces como la mariscada altamente recomendables.

Durante el mes de Mayo entre semana tenéis las jornadas del arroz.

La atención por parte del servicio impecable, muy atentos y todo fluye con rapidez.

Increíble la calidad del pescado y de las raciones en general. El sitio precioso, a un pie del mar y precios particularmente asequibles
