La casa de las chimeneas

My family and I had a magical experience at Chimeneas. The views were astonishing, and the little village of Tudes transported us to a different time. There are larger towns down the mountain such as Potes with great dining options, grocery stores, affordable prices, and medieval architecture. The house we stayed in was comfortable and cozy for the six of us. We would recommend Chimeneas to anyone who happens to be in the area and wants to have a memorable getaway in the mountains.

We rented the whole place for a family reunion with 27 people. It made the trip unforgettable. Each family had their own double story house. We had barbecues for dinner in the common area. Rustic, authentic aesthetic while comfortable with amazing views.

Good accomodation in a lovely small village with great views at Los Picos. Friendly staff. Very nice pub next door with tables in a small street to relax in the evening.

Beautiful place for a quiet, peaceful, gorgeous holiday surrounded by mountains. Great views from the house. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Perfect in every way. The location was gorgeous. Remote - at the end of a winding road with superb views. Tudes is a pretty, sleepy village and La Casa de las Chimeneas nestles in the centre. You enter the accommodation through the most gorgeous courtyard and the apartment itself was wonderful and immaculate inside. Lovely traditional artwork contrasted with every modern convenience. The owners have thought of everything to ensure their guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. Great area for walking, too. Our only disappointment was that we hadn't booked for longer ...... maybe next time!

A beautiful tranquil place to stay.

This is a marvellous place to stay and enjoy the Picos de Europa, Spain. We have come to Casa de las Chimeneas every year now for a while(except during Covid) and we love it--the place is easy to get to from Potes, the unbelievable views and the excellent and tasteful accommodations are alone worth the visit. The few villagers are friendly, and the walks are beautiful. I can only give it my highest recommendation.

Very nice patio to have some dinner or drinks in the shade - we however preferred to go to the local bar across the street :)

We enjoyed two warm and sparkling late summer days, though September turned into October whilst at Lucia's eyrie high on a Los Picos mountainside. This is a comfortable and friendly place in an ancient village with crystal air and excellent walking. Hihgly recommended.
THe Taberna del Ingles was closed, so our supplies had to come from Potes.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this idyllic location, surrounded by the stunning Picos de Europa. This is the perfect place to disconnect from the real world and get lost in nature. The hosts were outstanding, the views were sublime, and the accommodation was impeccable. The village of Potes, a 5 minute drive away, has many quaint restaurants, cafes, and artisinal shops, and the grub is fantastic, as is the cider!

A beautiful place with outstanding service. Viktor was beyond helpful in our pursuit of Iberia's lost luggage,l. The apartment is clean, quiet, and has excellent views. Highly recommended!

Just coming back from la Casa de las Chimeneas. Our 3rd time there. Once again it was just fantastic. The place, the location, the owner! Really worth going there! We will come back!

Very nice place. We stayed for 1 week with 4 childrens and did enjoy a lot. The taverna is also very recommendable. This is one of the best accomodations we've ever had.

Excellent accommodation. Lovely sleepy village perfect for a location to explore the Picos de Europa.

Absolutely beautiful location, clean accommodation with nice touches, swimming pool was fabulous in the heat of the afternoons.

This is like a lovely little gem tucked high up in a small mountain village with everything you need and a great heated pool.

Beauty, simplicity, tranquility. What makes this place so special is that it lies in the middle of a lovely, quaint mountain village. The views are spectacular and the apartments are cozy and nicely furnished.

La Casa de las Chimeneas es pura medicina. El lugar al que debes ir si lo que buscas es resetear cuerpo, mente y alma.
Todos y cada uno de los 8 apartamentos son preciosos, y mezclan lo rústico con lo moderno. No les falta de nada y son muy acogedores. Sales de allí pensando en la próxima☺ Las vistas espectaculares❤ Si te gusta hacer senderismo, del mismo pueblo salen varias rutas.
