Restaurante Vegetariano Artemisa - Huertas

Wow! Some of the best food I’ve had in Madrid! I loved their daily menu but we also got their croquettes! Everything was delicious and we loved the mandarin cake! The vegetarian paella was delicious and highly recommend this gem!

I was dining here around lunch time and even though the place was almost full and I didn't have any reservations, I was lucky and got a seat at a table. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I had a vegan miso soup and vegan croquettes, and additionally a vegan cake as a takeaway. They all tasted good. The overall price is a bit high though.

Wonderful restaurant serving vegan and vegetarian food… we went with vegetarian and the choices all sounded delicious. We shared a salad to start, fresh, crispy lettuce with cheese tomatoes
And an oil vinegar dressing. The lasagna and the meatballs with rice were both very tasty and the portions are generous. We also enjoyed a bottle of white wine. The server was very pleasant and helpful, nice sense of humour.

Looks and feels less rustic (a level above ?) than most vegetarian places that we visited in town. The waiter was pleasant and steered us politely away from going overboard when we ordered our first and second courses. The miso soup with plenty of vegetables was the incredibly rounded, flavorful highlight of the meal, but the fried teriyaki tofu was a close second. I am not sure what to order next time, but the brie and mushroom filled crepe was such an interesting firework of textures and flavors that I will definitely have it again. The only dish that fell short of our expectations was the nettle soup but its flavor might have simply been overpowered by the tasty wine.

Loved this place!! They have an extensive menu that is vegetarian but also very vegan accommodating. In Addition to our main course my wife and I split the avocado salad which was really good. Not sure what I ordered because I let my server pick for me and it was great. Service was terrific and very helpful!

Everything is gluten free, so no worries of cross-contamination! Vegetarian all the way, vegan options widely available.

I’ve to say they have the BEST SOUP in Spain 🇪🇸
We ordered 2 soups ( Port Soup & Nettle Leek Soup) and N.2 tasting plate. Is a good amount of soup for 2 adult. The Veg Paella 🥘 was delicious and the tofu.
Service was great! He answered all our questions patiently.
We really enjoyed a lot! I’m just surprised how people can missed out this restaurant easily since is not very visible.
We Will definitely come back!

Fantastic Vegetarian and Vegan Food options at Artemisa - Huertas Restaurant! We went twice in a span of our 5 days' visit to Madrid. Lovely food quality, excellent ambience and good service. Strongly recommended.

I just completed the Camino de Santiago where it is difficult to find Plantbased options. I found this restaurant while awaiting my flight home.

The meal was absolutely delicious and was recommended by the staff. I would recommend anyone (including non-vegetarians) to try this place out.

As the other restaurant of this "brand" was full for lunch time, I made an extra way to eat here for the first time. I needed a quick but still healthy veggie lunch before heading to the airport. What I got was a delicious lunch with lots of varieties of plants served in less than 30 min with the restaurant being almost full. Can definitely recommend this place!

I came here for dinner with 7 friends (none of whom are gluten free or vegan) and we had such a delicious dinner! I'm vegetarian and celiac, and this restaurant was an incredible moment for me because I could look through the menu and order anything on it! I got to try so many Spanish dishes I couldn't have tried otherwise, and I so appreciate this restaurant and the food they make.
