Awesome to have cerveza here. They have good wifi too as my roaming phone is not getting good signal. Update! The vino tinto de triacastela and callos a la gallega is super good! Best i have had!
2nd update! The 2nd course lengua estofada is so soft n delicious too, goes well with vino tinto casa!

I ordered Menu del dia but what I got was a 3-course luxury dinner!! I will bring my parents next year 😍 and i had to come back for breakfast cuz it was too good.

Great value and quality menu Del dia. Staff were so lovely! I got the scrambled eggs with turnips (amazing) and the beef tongue, also tasty but very rich.

A nice bar, which functions also as a restaurant, like many others in Spain. I only had breakfast in it, but it was very good, the service was very kind and the location is nice too. For breakfast, I always happily eat something savory, when it is available as an alternative to the usual sweets, as long as it is not too heavy for digestion. I therefore really appreciated the idea of their breakfast, which included an Earl Grey tea (without sugar for me) and a slice of toasted bread with chopped tomato, extra virgin olive oil and salt.

The albergue own this restaurant right next to it which has great quality food for a reasonable price (€13 menu is what I recommend), a great service with friendly and professional staff and stays open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

[20240313］Best meal in my journey! The staffs were friendly!

Best place in town. It’s very lively and it has a beautiful open space under a roof. It’s not very expensive (10€ for the day’s menu and 1.40€ for the beer). As in most restaurants in Galicia, portions are large. You could probably eat 3 people with 2 menus. I don’t think there are better options in this town

Excellent menu del día at a very good quality and price. Ate two meals in a span of hmm 5 hours?? I guess I was hungry but couldn't pass the chance to eat again at this place.

Most outstanding was the service. Like being treated at a fine-dining but a casual homey atmosphere.

Unbeatable. Menu del dia for 11 euro with a fabulous choice of dishes for each course and incudes a bottle of wine and bread. Good service and good WiFi including outdoors. The scrambled eggs with turnip tops and local cheese was heavenly and the tongue was the most tender meat I have eaten in my life. I would definitely recommend this place whether to eat or drink. Right in the heart of the little village, on the so called main road and on the Camino de Santiago.

Stop by for breakfast good price and yummy food!

Breakfast in the morning was toast, coffee and juice. Dinner the night before was really nice. Unfortunately no photo taken. Might be one of the best before get to Santiago.

Update!
We went back to clear the misunderstanding. The restaurant helped us with hospitality. There was no extra charge made, just wrong billing. But we got refunded. Very appreciate all the clarification and we continue to dine here!

The service was good to be honest and the food was great. The reason for a 2 star is that we were charged 7 euro extra for sending back the steak for making it medium well. We are not sure if that is a normal thing in Spain but have no choice to accept it and pay the bill.

It would be nice to get an explanation and the review can be rated again!

I stopped here for a breakfast. Everythin was very tasty. Bar is neat and clean. Music is very good. Congrats for such place!

Yes theres a reason why this restaurant is the best in this town. We ordered ternera and salmon and theres small problem with salmon dish but when i reported they redo the dish and even not charge for the salmon..! Excellent service and we totally satisfied, also food was good!

My husband and I enjoyed the pilgrim menu, but added the pimiento de Padrón, my favorite peppers! Staff was great, they do not rush you to leave. I don’t recommend the beef steak to well done cooked. the stuffed chicken Milanese was better.

Good menu price with good food. The flan was especially good, really enjoyed that!
