Restaurante Esther

Esther is the best cook , we have eaten many menu’s during our Camino, but this was one of the best , we went twice, to eat lunch and dinner, and tried many different dishes, all were great. It is the best restaurant in the town. Many vegetarian options as well. The terrace is lovely and it’s nice and quiet to eat instead of the loud places downtown. I even saw the cook cutting the vegetables from the yard behind the restaurant to use in the kitchen. How fresh can eat?

Lovely place with a big terrace and sympathic personal and delicious food from our beloved cook Esther and her famous waitress, which will always welcome you with a big smile ... just recommendable from the heart !

delicious meal, great coffee & really friendly service. Reasonably priced with generous servings. Great place to recharge on the Camino trail :) I went to the restaurant 3 times as I loved the food and the view & relaxed atmosphere on the terrace.

Best place for pilgrims - menu in a few languages! Also vegetarian options. Felt like being in a fancy restaurant, a nice change from life on the way.

Great local place run by two sisters, food has that home cooked taste, not fancy but good pilgrim fuel. Best fillet on camino. Gracias!

This place is a total gem along the camino Frances. Beautifully cooked, nutrition food. Good service. Lovely and clean. I can't recommend it enough. It's amazing!

I wish I could give more stars to this place. The food was super delicious, and Esther is generous with the food and the drinks. Everything was tasty: we had the cod fish, and shrimps with garlic and olive oil. With the menu del día you get a whole bottle of great wine!

Walking the Camino de Santiage is hard work. This restaurant was a fantastic stop along the way. Open earlier than most for lunch and they had a vegetarian menu. Great choices beyond the ubiquitous patatas bravas. We had mushrooms and garlic as a first course and scrambled eggs with turnip greens as the main. My partner ordered the red wine and me the water. We got large bottles of each and shared. Dessert was the heavenly O Cebreiro cheese and honey. It qas such a nice meal with friendly service in a very clean dining room. I highly recommend

Brilliant and delicious food, waitress was lovely and got us in (2 people) before a large group so it was quick. Stopped here for lunch, so good we came back for dinner!

Great food - good price...and the lady called every single hotel in the village to find us a room. Priceless!

Though we were wet and dirty from cycling in the rain, they seated us during their Sunday dinner. Food was excellent.
