Parador de Vilalba

Staying at the Parador on a bicycle trip to Santiago last year was a great experience. The hotel is situated in a beautiful old building with ample garage space for bicycles underneath it, as well as a service area with pump, tools and even a bike stand.

The room is what can be expected for the price per night, with a comfy bed, lots of space, a big bathroom with all amenities needed as well as complimentary products (take only what you truly need).

The food served at the restaurant is delicious and can be made vegan on request.

Excellent Parador. Lovely rooms. The tower is stunning. Some of the staff in the Paradores can be a bit grumpy but the staff here are really lovely. Our only gripe was that as an Amigo de Parador we should have had a free drink. Really like the small town too

We stopped for a coffee break while driving through Villalba.
We had a cortado and americano that were great and served with something on the side- which was a nice surprise. We were also able to visit the ground floor of the tower that is a sitting lounge and gives a good feel of the style and history of the parador.

The hotel is great and the staff is very nice. Vilalba is not that interesting. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and suggested I take a short bus ride to Lugo to visit that city. It was an excellent suggestion. Also they were very willing to pack me a lunch for the next day on the Camino.

Detail to service and cleanliness here unsurpassed. Polite and friendly locals always ready and happy to help an English speaker who struggles with Spanish. Lovely area and walks to River Madalana and ols town.

Great hotel. Well worth it to stay in.

A very nice hotel with a excellent restaurant, the restaurant is located in the bottom of the 15 century tower it is a very nice environment with great atmosphere and delicious food and friendly waitress, the rooms are nice and comfortable with a decent size and nice and warm, the staff are very nice and friendly, the breakfast is also very good, highly recommended.

Waiter and waitress are nice and friendly. We always come here when we visit Vilalba. Food is great, too.

A beautiful setting with excellent service and a nice town. Especially bike friendly and there are chargers for Teslas as well.

Would not have asked for more on a cold and wet December weekend. Perfect

Ausgesprochen nettes Personal. Sehr sauber. Großzügige Zimmer. Gute Betten. Gutes Frühstück. Man kann im Innenhof des Hotel etwas trinken. Wir haben oft einen Parkplatz in der Nähe bekommen, wenn nicht war die Möglichkeit in der Hoteleigenen Tiefgarage möglich. Leider ist es Abends etwas laut da in der Nähe auf dem Platz ein Restaurant ist.

El sitio es precioso y super agradable. La atención estupenda. La chica de recepción (Laura) maravillosa. Nos hizo unas recomendaciones buenísimas de sitios que visitar. Todo el personal encantador. Las habitaciones cómodas y perfectas!!!

Comimos muy bien y a un precio razonable. Muy tranquilo y cómodo. Quién busque relajarse, es una opción más que recomendable.
