Casa rural en Triacastelas Casa da Veiga

A bit off the beaten path for sure. This quaint, charming and rustic lodge like hotel is located about 3 kilometers from the small village of Triacastela. Situated in the middle of farm country, with a dairy farm right next door, this place brought back many fond memories of my childhood when I spent a few summers on a dairy farm. The proprietor Margarita, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Because I arrived by bicycle as part of my trip along the Camino de Santiago, she offered to take me into town so that I could eat at one of the local restaurants. She made sure that I had everything that I needed for my stay. I happened to be the only one in the place, so it felt like a home away from home. Sitting on my bed in my room on the second floor, I had the window open out onto the beautiful fields behind the hotel where horses were grazing. The communal sitting room on the first floor was chock full of cozy atmosphere with a large fireplace, walls made of two foot thick stone and beamed ceilings. I just love an out of the way place to stay and this Casa was absolutely perfect for my taste and purposes. Highly recommend it if you like a rustic retreat. Wifi available on the ground floor (room was a bit too far away from the router). No air conditioning, but being that the temperature dropped during the night, was not needed at all. In fact the heavier blanket that was on the bed came in very useful.

OMG! This was an example of how much a host can make the difference. Sra. Margarita was so loving and serviceable that my daughter and I would qualify our stay here as the best on our Camino Frances. The place is absolutely charming, with a back drop of fields and mountains on the background and beautiful horses galloping at their leisure. The owner was more than happy to pick us up and in the morning drop us off again so we can continue our camino. We slept 9 hours like bears that night and was a well deserved the break from all the walking and bad sleeps. The breakfast, was probably the best we had in the camino - all locally provisioned goodies. Can't recommend this place enough!

Hemos disfrutado de una estancia de once días. Lo mejor, la atención de Margarita, la propietaria. Un alojamiento ideal para largas estancias así como para noches sueltas. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y la casa dispone de 10 habitaciones para alojar cómodamente a 20 personas.
Recomiendo este alojamiento, volvería sin dudarlo.

La Casa Veiga e' una casa rural a 2km da Triacastela. La proprietaria ci e' venuta a prendere in auto a Triacastela ed il giorno dopo ci ha riaccompagnato all inizio del cammino per Sant Xil.
La camera molto bella e la colazione ottima! Assolutamente consigliato!

Perfecto para recuperarse del camino. Un establecimiento muy bonito, tranquilo y reconfortante. La amabilidad y la disposición de Margarita nos hizo sentir como en casa. Volveremos sin duda.

Antigua Rectoria. Bien restaurada y acondicionada. Margarita es una excelente anfitriona. El lugar merece desviarse desde Triacastela. Si llegáis a pie, Margarita os vendrá a buscar. Tema cenas, también lo puede solucionar.

Entorno precioso, la propietaria muy amable y servicial, se ofrece para ayudar en lo que necesiteis. Quizás necesiten renovar las camas, pero aun asi se descansa muy muy bien

La casa muy bonita y tranquila, la dueña es todo amabilidad. Si no tienes transporte, ella te recoge en el pueblo triacastela, vale la pena dormir allí, lo recomiendo toda una experiencia

La realidad supera la ficción y la novela! No hay libro, video o anécdota que supere las experiencias que me deja recorrer parte del Camino a Santiago, y de entre los mas gratos recuerdos que me llevaré esta el haberme hospedado sen Casa Veiga. Margarita mucha gracias por su amabilidad!

Una sitio muy tranquilo a dos kilometros de triacastela,las instalaciones de la casa tanto fuera como dentro muy bonitas, la dueña margarita una maravillosa persona muy atenta nos llevo en su coche a cenar a triacastela y nos recogió,lo recomiendo

Preciosa casa de un estilo rural y la atención de Margarita excelente! En el desayuno nos dio un queso estilo requesón exquisito!

Un edificio precioso. Trato excelente. Un lugar perfecto para descansar i disfrutar de la naturaleza. Tiene wifi bueno. Os lo recomiendo de verdad.

Lugar precioso.. Contratamos cena y desayuno... La cena fue en un bar donde la señora margarita nos acerco y nos fue a recoger, todo buenísimo, y el desayuno que nos preparo riquísimo.. Gracias
