Axi Muniain Surf Center

Great experience at this surf center. We went to rent a board and wetsuit for 1 or 2 hours. Warm welcome, good materials, English speaking, helpful to test shorter boards, clean sanitary, hot shower, lockers... Thanks for this great experience. :)

This is a fabulous shop. Super accommodating went to 6 shops in Spain. This was by far the best. I stopped in every the morning, and got a surf report. When the surf will be the best. I rented 3 awesome boards. I had the time my life. What made the shop different if they were super knowledgeable, and willing to share this knowledge with anyone who came in. Great shop, I will be back in spring, thanks to everyone in the shop. Hands-down this shop helped me catch some of my biggest waves in Europe.

Very nice surf school. Teachers were very kind and instructive and you always felt safe. Lending Surf equipment was easy and prices were good as well. We had a lot of fun here.👍🏾

Very nice and clean surf school, with perfect showers. Nice owner, he gives you helpfull tips and tricks. If you rent a board but you decided to stay in the water longer, that's no problem at all. When we're in Zarautz again we'll come back here, definitely!

We tried to hire some boards to have an early morning surfr. After being turned down several times we walked in Axi’s store and asked him if it would be possible to hire board from 08:00am. This was not problem at all, Axi came early to open his shop especially so we could go for an early morning surf. Also, Axi took his time to recommend the best suiting boards for our skill level! Showers where clean and well set up, nothing but thumbs up to this business!
We will definitely return to this place and will hire boards again.

Feel very fortunate to get lessons, meet the duo, and surf here. They set us up with boards and wetsuits for 3 days.

Great school / amazing rental shop / nice vibes. I really enjoyed coming there. The people are super friendly and take really time for you.

Axi is a referent for Zarautz surf movement.
I can not review the school but his kindness and comptence. I saw his classrooms in the water, the best one.

Great surfboards, helpful staff, showers(!!!) and great beach! They also have wax which for some reason is not a standard up north… definitely recommend, only good vibes!

Me and my wife took some lessons. Lorenzo is a great teacher with a nice positive energy. If we’re ever in the neighborhood we would definitely take lessons here again!
