This place has a lovely local vibe about it. I was there twice for breakfast. Before 10, the plaze buzzes with life. Locals get their breakfast here; dining in and takeaways. Service is excellent although there are only 3 people manning the counter. Each of them is super friendly even to me, who is clearly not a local. I enjoyed being here. The food is great and their price is reasonable. Note: Cash payment only.

If you are looking for a small local coffee shop with reasonable price breakfast, this is the very one. I like the active yet warm and friendly atmosphere and service (despite no English communication). Anchovy sandwich with tomato is nice. The location is at the edge of the city centre. Very good to start a day.

Absolutely a delight. Came here two days in a row to enjoy their sandwich.
They have things not on the board such as churros and croissants!
It’s also nice that they’re open from 6am, many places open from 8 or 9am

The best little cafe in Granada!
The food is absolutely incredible, we came back to Cafeteria Agistin over and over again in the past 3 years we visited the city.
Couldn’t recommend highly enough, especially their churros - out of this world!
The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is very authentic.
We will certainly be back!

Cafeteria Agustin has some of the nicest employees [and even patrons] that we've encountered on our vacations. We ordered the two staple dishes for the region: Pan con tomate and Churros con chocolate (Total: 6€). We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and it was entertaining to people watch as locals filed in and out of the restaurant. This restaurant is truly your "hole-in-the-wall" variety that serves authentic local foods at reasonable prices.

At first, we were alarmed by how packed the restaurant was and didn't think we'd be able to eat here. We quickly learned that we could be served on any clean surface of the restaurant and customers quickly vacated their seats after finishing their meals.

The patrons were so kind to assist us in getting into the restroom as we struggled like clueless tourists. There is a key that is attached on a string that unlocks the door, which reveal individual bathrooms for both male and female.

For a true local experience, check out this gem!

Happy to have stumbled upon this super local cafe!! The owner was so nice even though he doesn’t speak much English, made us feel at home. Coffee was very yummy and so are his churros and hot chocolate. The place only accepts cash. We only had bills with us but he was kind enough to round our bill down.

Always packed with locals and the staff are very kind to tourists. The environment is very fast paced, so you may feel overwhelmed at first, but the staff really take their time with you even though they are busy. Seating is also limited, but clears up quite quickly and you can always sit at the bar or even stand.

At times it was difficult to find a place open for breakfast, this place was open nice and early. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a nice atmosphere. We had a jamón serrano and atún bread roll. A great price.

Great service, very very friendly!! Good strong coffee (ask for it “en taza) if you don’t want it in a glass and great tostadas and fresh baked rolls.

Absolutely amazing place, could be a bit hectic in the morning but I absolutely loved the morning breakfast here. Staff doesn’t speak English but does take time to understand you and are very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you want a more authentic experience.

I loved the vibes of this traditional small cafeteria. It serves amazing churros with hot chocolate for 3 euros.
Be prepared with cash as it is the only option there.

Service was excellent. The guy who works there did not stop moving. He was so nice. The churros tasted traditional but we were given this thick hot chocolate to dip them in which was great. Perhaps not as sweet as I would normally like, but we were offered sugar (without asking). The cost was very cheap and they are worth trying, as they are quite different to the usual touristy tasting churros.

A fun local place to start the day! Very fast breakfast and coffee, and a great spot to practice your Spanish. Make sure you bring cash. We would go there any morning that we are in Granada!

I love the chaotic nature of this place. As an Englishman it's great to see facets of the Spanish character shine through in this lovely cafe. A microcosm of Andalucian society. Despite the chaos the staff are extremely welcoming and very quick to serve. It's great to sit at the bar with a coffee and observe everything over breakfast. Recommended!

The most amazing place for a genuine Spanish breakfast experience. The place was buzzing with people when we first walked in and full of locals which is usually a good sign for the authentic experience. The 3 staff made us feel super welcome even though we couldn’t speak Spanish to order. Coffee was on point and so was the food. We had our drinks and food within 2 minutes of sitting down at the bar. We loved it so much I offered a generous tip and the patron declined to accept but I wasn’t leaving without rewarding the experience with a tip so he said thank you repeatedly.
