Easy hike along a stunning gorge with caves, waterfalls, suspended rope bridge and wooden boardwalks.

This is a very pleasant boardwalk next to the river and through the gorge. There is now a €2.50 fee per person where before covid it was free. Plenty of parking available. You can walk there and back or walk up the hill to the beautiful village and then back down again, it is quite steep but well worth the effort. There was a bar restaurant at the end of the boardwalk but now appears to be closed with a note saying due to the fee now being charged there are less visitors? A real shame if this is the case.

Absolutely fantastic. Loving in a dry part of Spain it was spectacular to see the amazing natural river. The walk way was great. Children so need to be watched carefully though, but there were lots of families enjoying it all as much as we did. Well worth the 3€ to see it all

The most beautiful town of Andalucía is Castril. The views are so gorgeous, and the town is filled with neat houses and flowers. Very nice.

One of the most beautiful 20 minute walks I've ever been on. The wooden boardwalk over the rushing water is exhilarating, the dark stretch of cave is mysterious, and to be surrounded by the tall rock walls is humbling. A very diverse amount of experience in a short amount of time.

Beautiful trail down to the restaurant although it was closed because of the time of the year, a nice little pop up coffee shop would of been much appreciated specially as it's a very busy tourist attraction.

Great place to the river/canyon is beautiful
A few narrow bits but families with small children will be ok
Not great though If you have a pram, I’d recommend a carrier

Came across this old canal structure on a walk along the river bank from Tomasol towards Las Cunas and Cuevas del Almanzora. It looked like an old moat wall at first and only discovered that it was an aquevia when checked on Google maps.

River walking that is exciting, but also seems a little scary at times. Small children should hold hands always.
