Cal Cofa

We came here by chance and found place without reservation.

This restaurant has many good atributes: a warm place, very clean, fine arrangements, professional cook chef, good tasted food, good wines, aperitive from house at the end.

Service was prompt and attentive, giving good tips and advices in order to find your desired good tasted food.

I recommend to try one time and than to give an answer review.

We sat upstairs at Cal Cofa in a room beautifully lit and decorated with lovely animal pictures.
The staff were helpful and attentive to our needs, replenishing the complementary water without asking.
We shared a nice selection of roasted vegetables to start, cooked and served on a hot stone.
Our main course choice was the entrecot reserva (ribeye steak) for 2 persons. This is a good choice for those with a good appetite, however, we found the quantity a little much and the steak tasty but quite fatty. A nice touch was the hot stone, upon which the meat could be heated again as (due to the quantity) was getting cold.
Unfortunately we were too full to order a dessert, but savoured a delicious coffee and a complementary lemoncello.
Overall, Cal Cofa was a nice experience and I would recommend a visit. I would also advise to arrive hungry.

That was one of the best dinners in my life. Great customer service, incredible food, delicious deserts, compliments on the house and nice cava. Snails were top notch and there are vegetarian options too. Nice location and lovely atmosphere.

We had a really nice lunch here, i put photo of the entree cheese salad on rock with ruccola. That was really tasty, we got entrecôte with cheese sauce, which is nicely cooked and cut. Near to that service is really nice, that increase the quality and pleasure a lot. As a desert we got cheesecake, lemon tart , and chocolate mousse. I prefer the cheesecake which is a little salty. Well done at the end

Upmost quality food, in a pleasant atmosphere and with excellent service. Starters, mains and desserts were all fantastic. We could only suggest that the house red wine is kept outside the chiller ahead of dinner time. Definitely among the best of La Cerdanya. We will be back.

Amazing restaurant ! Had one of the best lambs I ever had. Atmosphere is nice, service was good and the wine comes in good with the meat they serve. Will come back for sure !

Very tasty, one of the best meats I have eaten for the price. The portions are very reasonable, and the quality of the food and service is superb! Would definetly recommend it!

One of my preferred restaurants in la Cerdanya. Secure bet to get local traditional cousine. Not cheap, but you get best quality with excellent service.

Worth to consider the house specialities and the seasonal dishes. Home made cheese cake is out of this world.

Brilliant food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. T'aint cheap, but well worth it.

There is an ambiance of traditional mountain lodge and forest in its decor. It was excellent value for money. The food was delicious and filling. I loved their trinxeta, a sort of mashed potatoes, cabagge and herbs. It was honestly to die for. Then the main course was a savoury and heart warming lamb roast. I definitely recommend it.

Best entrecôte ever!! We chose the entrecôte reserva, the freshly baked cheesecake was also delightful!

One excellent restaurant in the Pyrenees at Llivia municipality. Wonderful meat with amazing environment. Highly recommended.

Had a very pleasant evening here. English is spoken with some difficulty but the food is great and the staff friendly. Good wine recommendation. Very limited vegetarian choices unfortunately but one can make do. Various things offered by the house, which is always a nice touch. I would suggest Restaurant Trumfes is a nose better, but these two restaurants are both top notch.
