I have needed the town hall of Cuevas Del Campo on several occasions, when I first moved here, the drains in the street outside the house were blocked. The town hall acted fact and did everything they needed to and fixed the issue. More recently I have just managed to get my certificado de empadronamiento, and thanks to Vincente for that! And a good neighbor who helps us translate. Some things move fast, some things take a little longer than maybe other town halls. But I would say for a small town, Cuevas Del Campo ayuntamiento is very busy, always people in and out and short queues.

They provide hands free hand sanitiser stations, and the staff always wear masks when near each other or the public.

Unfortunately since then, I have needed the town hall for several things and it has taken months on both occasions. It is possible COVID is slowing things down due to less employees working, but one is a dangerous issue with electrical wiring that has been pulled away from my house (by a company working on the street lights) and has been hanging with mains electrical wire, phone lines and street lighting all in front of my windows and over our only way in and out of the house and they have not attempted to fix this for 3 months so far.

De lo peor. No contestan nunca al teléfono. Parece que sea un ayuntamiento muy ocupado y sólo hay que ver el pueblo para comprobar que es imposible que lo estén, porque el pueblo está dejado por todos sitios y no tiene actividad de ningún tipo. Para hacer cualquier gestión tardan siglos o no informan de nada. Parece que no cobren la nómina de los impuestos de los ciudadanos.
