We stopped here hiking the Camino and the staff is super friendly. They greeted us as we came in and helped us get our bags situated, and even brought little stands in case we wanted to stretch our legs. They have a small Camino shop of essentials/toiletries too. Stop here if you are on the Camino!

Great service. Perfect stop for a coffee on the Camino. The bread can drive by while we were there and we bought enough to save for breakfast the next day!

Most life-giving and refreshing stop on the Camino! Maria was precious and so kind and welcoming! She put stools under our feet and settled our backpacks down, all with a smile and sweet arm pats! She made sure we were fed and comfortable! Then she gave us a tour of the chapel nearby! After a very hard stretch of the trail, this was SUCH A JOYFUL EXPERIENCE!!! 😍💖

Real Camino spirit, by the barstaff👍🤩. The moment we were finished ordering café con leche, she brought out a stool each for us, to put up our peregrino legs. And even came with a icepack for my fellow travellers sore knee.
Top service

I have never experienced such kind & attentive service as from Maria Carmen at this restaurant. A tiny woman with a huge heart whose kindness gave me strength. In addition, the food was delicious & the coffee was hot! Everything a pair of weary peregrinos needed. Thank you so much!

The hostess, I believe her name is Maria was one of the kindest women I have ever met. I came in soaking wet, tired and cold from a stormy day She sat me down, took my wet coat, put it on hanger, took my wet pack, set it on a chair and then got a footstool for me to put my feet up. I got a ham sandwich big enough for three meals and a Coke for under five euros. That woman gave 20 to 25 people in that room all special attention. She went around the room with cookies and warm tapas handing them out. She wrapped up my leftover sandwich in aluminum foil and then put it in a plastic bag. And as I was leaving, she put a stamp identifying the business, and then had another beautiful stamp of a Pilgrim. Probably will be my fondest memory from the Camino.

Maria Del Carmen attended us as we ended our 3rd day of the Camino. The service was the best we have had yet. She was so considerate and gave us stools for putting up our feet and resting. Muchas gracias. You HAVE to definitely stop here. We felt like family and spent a few hours there and get to know a lot more of the people on the Camino. Maria took us to the local church and even sent me on my way with pan and chorizo. Maria eres un ángel. Keep doing what you are doing and your kindness changes lives. You have left a very large print on my heart.

Gloriously warm welcome after a long day of walking: footstools, delicious, homely cheese and ham, bread, tea and beer - all served with a wonderful smile.

Very lovely and welcoming. As soon as we came in the owners offered us seats to sit on, to put our back packs and to rest our tired legs. Must stop at the Camino de Ingles route.

When you are walking El Camino, the only thing you want after 15-20km is to take off your boots, eat some food, and have a rest in a shadow. Well, everything and more you will find in this place. The ladies owners are taking care of everyone so sincerely, so kind, that it touches deeply: even dry ice for tired legs and free savoyardy biscuits to coffee.
And smiles, and the very best attention. We are grateful for it. Thank you!

The most wonderful place. We love Maria!!!

This is a great place to stop before Hospital de Bruma, and it's your last chance for food. They love pilgrims here. Put up your feet and relax for a moment here!

The two lady running this bar are the kindest people on the Camino Inglés. They will treat you as a family while you are resting. Stamp is available as well. Make sure you visit them and say hi to them. They will also ensure that you rest your legs on the chair :)

Avelina was the best place to step in out of the rain. The food was good and abundant, and the welcome warm.

The food served here is typical, e.g bicadillos. However, the people who run this place take good care of the pilgrims. Service is the absolute best, they welcome everyone with such warmth.
