Really nice and traditional restaurant to come to in the quieter part of Ruzafa. This place has a nice charm to it that you won’t find in other modern places around Ruzafa. The food vs quality vs price is fair and the owner/ wait staff are every friendly. We had a tapas style evening and shared all the plates between 6 of us. If you want to experience a typical spanish dinner, this is the place to be. Highly recommended and will make this my go to place when bringing visitors around Valencia for a traditional spanish experience.

The food was lovely, especially the chicken croquetas and the goat cheese candies, and the service was very friendly. Prices are fair as well.

Exceptional service and the paella here was beyond amazing! The waiters were very attentive. I reserved a table the night before and was able to get seated easily.

This is a gem off the beaten touristy path. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want quality and classical paella, come to this place and order the Paella Valencia. Then ask the waiter which wine pairs well with it- you won’t regret it!

Great value for money! We had 4 tapas, 4 deserts, a bottle of wine, 2 beers, a bottle of water and 2 coffees. It cost us 20€ each. Great quality as well.

Excellent food, started of with the Albóndigas (Meatballs) and what meatballs!, flavourful and melt in your mouth. For a true paella walk away from the usual overpriced tourist traps in Valencia and head to La Estrella, the paella was great add to that great service and it’s a winner. I would recommend this to anyone who loves their food.

The food was so delicious. We tried the paella de mariscos which I highly recommend.

The service was exceptional. Initially I was advised I could only order paella for two people however they made an exception for me! So a paella accompanied by the an excellent Rioja they recommended made it a fantastic experience for me.

A traditional spanish restaurant, with great food. Especially the Tapas and the Paella Valenciana! Also great and fast service! Would go there again and recommend it!

Excellent service - despite the fact that my waiter didn't speak English and my Spanish is very limited - so friendly and patient! I had the 3-course menu of the day (first, second, desert and a drink). Every dish was delicious, especially the rice with seafood dish, kinda like a seafood paella but more like a stew. The flan de cafe for desert was also great. On top of it all, it was only €11!

Delicious simple tapas with the most attentive team. They even cooked us up something off menu!

Outstanding food.

Editing my review... I have been in Valencia for a year now, and this is one of my favorite restaurants. Last night we took visitors there, and had the best tasting paella I have tried.

Great food and service!

After looking the whole day for a nice place to eat paella we finally found this restaurant and it was really delucious. We had paella valenciana without rabbit (just ask for it) for 11,50 each. Reasonable price for a good meal. Very recommendable

Great restaurant with delicious food! We had nice lunch (7 people) and the food was amazing! The staff are welcoming and really lovely! Great place for typical local food!!!

Very nice experience, fast and good service. We tried the fideua. Which is like a paella but with pasta and that’s was a nice surprise 🤩 I do recommend 👍🏼👍🏼
