Remembered by few, the arab inhabitants of these lands were deeply rooted here, having lived, thrived, worked, toiled and raised generations of families for hundreds of years before being summarily expelled form the land. So deeply were they entrenched that Christian locals wrote - pleading letters exist to that effect - telling declarations begging of the authorities to let their Arab neighbors remain for, many times - as the letters say - their Moorish neighbors were not only their workmates in the heavy work of the local fields, but their doctors, architects, pharmacists and learned men of science. The nane of this site bears witness still today to this traumatic episode in local history.

Interesante. Buenas vistas. El asentamiento se remonta hasta el siglo 13, pero las ruinas actuales son del 18. En la casa techada y reformada vive alguien. Nos ha sabido mal andar por los alrededores por si molestábamos.
