New Review 2023 - changed hands a few times a lot quieter than it used to be. Not a menu del noche but still an extensive menu to choose from. Bacon and Eggs as a starter are back on yes. The mixed grill is a belly buster and advisable for 2/3 people to share. The entrecot was very good. Wine excellent. Come on peeps it's good food and good vale still.

Original Review 2014 - A very typical spanish restaurant with a great choice of food on their 'menu del dia' and 'menu del noche'. At the time of writing a 'menu del noche' is €11 or you can choose from the €15 menu or 'Al a carte'. The place is always busy and popular with the Brits, but also popular with the Spanish too. Sunday lunch time is busy so I would recommend you book. We have never had a bad meal. The owners and staff are really friendly and speak English but they do like it when you try out your Spanish. Just follow the signs for the ITV (MOT) centre.

Love this place, there are 2 menu del dias available €11/€15. The meal pictured is part of the €15 menu and an optional €3 extra for entrecot/chuleton steak. Always leave feeling full to the brim, with the option of taking a doggy bag home if you struggle to eat it all. Friendly staff and welcoming, service is swift but can be quite busy after 8pm. Highly recommended and worth every cent.

Have eaten here many times and the quality and quantity of food is great and the price including a bottle of wine between two is amazing.

First visit here and it was the best food we've had since being here. So much choice and huge portions! 3 adults, 3 courses each from menu del dia, drinks, bread amd alioli and salad, a kids meal with drink and dessert. Bill was €54. The waitress was brilliant and spoke a little English too. Highly recommend.

Very good meal for the price. Bit of a wait fir deserts but We really felt sorry for one girl serving and doing everything. Very good she was even to the fact she was running.

Incredible value for money... Popular restaurant with the local and expatriate crowds. At those prices, it is not worth getting behind the cooker at home.. Food is mostly of good quality and the size of the portions tend to be generous. the dining room is a bit drab and can be noisy at time but this is a minor remark

Their 3 course menu del dia, with it's extensive menu that also includes a drink, bread & Ali oli & coffee is served nicely with good sized portions. The staff are friendly & attentive. This is such a bargain at 11 euros per head - highly recommended 👍🏻😊

It's a little tricky to find and in an unusual place- but so worth it! From the front we weren't sure if we were in the right place as it looked empty, but if you keep walking to the back you find the restaurant area, which was busy for a Wednesday night. They have a wonderful set menu available for only €11! So many food options available and everything we ordered was gorgeous! We couldn't eat it all and had to take some away. Friendly staff and all very clean. A lovely hidden gem and we'll definitely be back!

If you want a great meal at a good price and don't mind being in the middle of an industrial estate then head here. Could not fault either the food or service. Decor is basic though as befits it's location.

Have been to Meson de Irene on a few occasions, both as a couple and in groups. We have always found the food fabulous, quality and quantity, with excellent service especially from Nicole. We would highly recommend this restaurant. T&M

This place is fantastic 15 euro's for a 4 course meal and a pint, you also get salad before your starter and bread excellent food and service, great value for money. Second time here just as good !!!!

Wow what a place. €14 for menu a menu del dia/noche. This includes salad, bread garlic mayo, first course , second course dessert coffee and wine. Very friendly place, great food.
