Casa Orxata, Bio Horchata

This is a wonderful place for vegans and non vegans- there’s plenty to choose from. I had the vegan paella which was so flavorful and full of veggies. I also had my first orxata de chufa, which is a delightful and refreshing drink made with organic tigernuts. I loved it! It’s very much like whole cows milk in viscosity, but sweet naturally and delicious- tiger nuts are a root, not a nut, and one of the primordial foods for humans. It’s great for the microbiome. I had friendly service from Velo and Javi. I recommend the trek out to the Mércat Colon- it’s an open air food court with higher end restaurants in a nicer shopping area. The architecture is spectacular. It’s free of touristy shops and plenty of locals dining. #veganoptions #vegetarian #organic

We had lovely vegan food from tapas to paella to brownies! With great customer service from Carlos. We highly recommend this to any diners especially vegans!

I casually bumped into this place inside Mercado de Colon and I’m glad I had my first Horchata ever here.. I will definitely miss this drink once I leave Spain.

They recommend Coca de llanda together with the horchata and I think it’s a great choice.

My first horchata and it was perfect. I appreciated it was organic without sugar (But you can add it into it). And as plus there was very nice staff.

I went twice there for their turrón gelato. It is fantastic ice cream. Great ambiance in Mercat de Colón to sit there and relax after a long walk. Their coffee was great also.

The orxata is fantastic! It comes with sugar on the side so you can decide how much you want to add. We also got the accompanying coco llanda, which was light and i enjoyed the light crunch of sugar at the bottom.

The ham and tomato sandwich was perfect. The bread not too hard and the ham not too salty. The tomato spread added a refreshing touch.

The ambience is nice since it's outside. It's not too loud and no smoking is allowed.

Overall wonderful experience and i would recommend anyone try it out.

Laura was our server and she was super kinds and thought about everything I came with my baby. She immediately gave us a high chair and gave us a small takeaway cup so my baby could drink easily without spilling everything.
The horchata was great and it's nice that there's no sugar and you can add as much as you want.
The coca llanda was fluffy and moist and the coffee was good quality and the right way.

Very nice place to stay at the terrace. Tapas are tasty, refreshing, fresh. Orxata and coco llanda valencian dishes are good to try and enjoy. Service was perfect, quick, polite and friendly

Best orxatta of my life. Eduardo gave great recommendations and service. What made this orxatta so great is that it comes natural without sugar. Sugar is brought on the side, allowing for customized sweetness. Don’t forget the farton. The farton added that special touch! At first was hesitant about dipping the farton but definitely a must!

I’m back again after visiting 10 months ago and everything was just as delicious as it was. That Horchata is literally the best in town! I was served by Juan Carlos who was super warm and welcoming and took time to translate to me about the desserts. It’s rare to have combination of great good AND great service. Super recommend!

Lovely ambience. Great place to cool down after a cool day. Due to a “lost in translation” moment a minor mistake was made, but quickly corrected with no fuss.

This spot is a must-visit for soaking up the genuine vibes of Valencia. Firstly, it's situated in a charming historic market building near the city's main shopping street. If you swing by on the weekend, you'll find it buzzing with locals sipping drinks, chatting, and having a good time. The outdoor seating is laid-back, reminiscent of a street cafe. We tried the local Tiger nut drink called horchata bio, sugar-free, and a horchata mango and banana smoothie - absolutely delicious, especially when paired with a Farton, a local pastry that was incredibly tender. It's a nice, uncomplicated place with a welcoming staff. A fantastic Valencia experience!

Delicious vegan and chicken paella! They have heaters in a lovely outdoor seating area in a food market, perfect for any weather. Reasonable pricing, big portions, and lovely staff!

Best horchata in all of Valencia! This place offers unsweetened orxata how it should be served. We also had it in our iced coffees.

The best cafe I’ve visited in Valencia, hands down! The horchata tasted heavenly because the sugar was optional and to be added later. The chocolate cake was very fresh and light and, of course, delicious. The service was impeccable, and the kind waiter even helped me charge my phone at the bar. And the location is so gorgeous and peaceful!
