Very well placed camping, in the middle of the nature and so close to the nice beaches. Warm swimming pool and we even saw rabbits!
Cozy to come with couple and perfect for families. September is very quite. Big supermarket with good meat next to it!
Climbing, ping pong, bar and plenty of other facilities. Bungalows were quite good and clean!

This is the second time we have camped at Camping Begur. Last year was great; this year was fantastic. They just keep improving the facilities and the service. The toilets and showers are always clean, the food is great and it is very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend.

Our three kids loved the small enclosure with chickens, rabbits and a goat. The pool was always a great end to the day after day trips. The sanitary facilities are clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. We stayed longer than planned. Great recommendation to all campers with children 🙂

Definitely up there as one of the best campsites we’ve ever visited. Very large & level pitches under the pine trees, great location within walking distances to numerous beaches, Begur itself is charming, lots of nature to be seen (an Owl that sounds like a reversing truck is a highlight), very clean toilets and hot showers and very friendly staff.

Two things that would make it better…

1. Introduce adults only times for the pool so we can have a swim before the children get in. Maybe 8am - 10am?

2. As much as we love animals and seeing them around the campsite, a cockerel is a strange addition. Especially one which starts it’s routine at 3.45am. It’s loud, very loud.

9.5/10 - brilliant place.

Camping Begur has been our summer destination for the past seven years, and it never fails to impress. Located in the Begur Mountains, the site is a natural beauty and well-shaded under a canopy of pine trees, holm oaks and acacias.

The facilities on site are well-maintained, clean and accessible. Camping pitches have access to clean running water and power outlets (you will need a 3-pin adapter or rent one from the office). Pitches are spacious, so you aren't pegging your guide ropes under your neighbours' tent. Most sites also have space for a vehicle or allocated parking nearby. There's free WiFi available across the site as well.

There are two large swimming pools and plenty of space to sunbathe or shade under the trees. The restaurant/bar has plenty of seating, and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The site also contains a small gym, volleyball/football court (on sand), and a small farmyard. BBQs are positioned throughout the site. There is also a Supermarket just outside the front gate.

The gates are locked in the evenings and there is security onsite. Entertainment events, such as the disco, usually wrap up by 11pm and a noise curfew is enforced from midnight. This is a very family friendly environment, with regular events to entertain young children as well as wine tasting and sports on the big screen for the adults.

The area around Begur is beautiful. There are plenty of hiking paths and beaches. Some locations are more accessible than others and you'll want to be early if you plan on parking your car close by. Thankfully, the summer climate is lovely, and you can kick-off your beach visit at 7am if you choose. From personal experience, Platja de Pals is the best beach to visit if you want easy access to parking, food and entertainment. Begur is also worth visiting with its restaurants, bars, weekly market and regular free events. Make sure to Google for an agenda of activities and explore the town on foot, as there are some great views to capture at sunrise and sunset.

What really keeps us coming back to Camping Begur is the friendly staff. They are a delight and remember us every year. They are a great source of information if you want to hire a fridge for your stay or find out what is happening in the area. The bar staff are so patient with our broken Spanish and we're always learning new phrases and techniques. We feel welcomed, which has made Camping Begur a permanent fixture in our summer calendar.

Amazing camping in the heart of the Costa Brava! While others are centred in doing entertaining shows for the tourists, this one is centred in nature and sustainability. You can find chickens, rabbits, different bird species, goats, sheeps... 2 beautiful pools and super interesting workshops for kids. The spaces are big and full of shade thankful to the pines. Begur is near the camping and you have beautiful beaches in the sorroundings.
Staff is very nice, food in the restaurant is surprisingly good, and you have a huge and useful supermarket just outside the camping doors, with a very good quality and independent butcher shop inside. We stayed 1 week and it was really a blissful escape! We would return for sure 😊

I have camped in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, America and now Spain. At camping Begur they have modern facilities and friendly staff. In relation to other countries I find camping in Spain in general to be expensive and camping Begur is within the average prices in Spain. I have also changed this review after personally speaking with the owner in relation to this. In the end camping Begur is a family friendly campground with modern, safe and clean facilities. They really go out of their way to be sure you are comfortable. There is a little something for the whole family here from wine tasting to an evening kids dance party.

The website has been updated since I wrote this review and is now very transparent. 5 star camping all the way. My wife and I still talk about Camping Begur with good memories.

Cannot fault this campsite!
Loved the setting in amongst the trees and the buildings within the campsite keep to this forest theme.
Our pitch was between the trees and a good size.
We didn’t use the pool (only April) but looked fabulous.
The bathroom facilities were clean and modern and divided for males and females.
There is a supermarket just beside this campsite also.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this campsite.

Have travelled Europe for many years and stayed in many camping grounds but I will have to say this camping ground was impeccable and the hole facility was of a high standard with an abundance of ammenities to satisfy singles, couples, and large families.
You don’t have to venture out as it has it all .FANTASTIC.
Will call in again one day and recommend to others.

A very fine and gentle campsite for families. We had a great time during our holidays. We rented a glamping tent and this was located at a very nice spot.

Probably one of the best campings around the Costa Brava zone.
This year feels (almost) like being in a little town somewhere in The Netherlands, +80% occupancy is from there. 😊
Bungalows would welcome a facelift since they start to become a bit dated, pools are fantastic!

This is a well laid out campground in a beautiful wooded area. The facilities are immaculate, there is a great restaurant and 2 lovely swimming pools, one heated. The staff are friendly . I would give it 6 stars if I could!
