What a great city center. We wandered through Jan 3 which to us seemed like a random Wednesday and I was amazed at how crowded it was. There was plenty of things to do and the only thing that seemed crazy was the queue for a half hour of ice skating.

Love this place in the heart of the city. No cars allowed in the area and many places to socialise and enjoy walks and usually street entertainment. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, hotels, flower shops it is a historic place for locals and tourists. A must visit when in Valencia, even if it is to soak up sun and sit on a park bench. Great place to people watch. Very safe. I recommend.

Probably the nicest square of the city. Clean and welcoming, and during Christmas it's even nicer!

Clean and pedestrianised town square.

Be aware of the costumed characters, don’t take photos or the will chase you for money.

This is the starting point at the top of Mount Montojic of the old cable car that glides accross the harbour hundreds of meters high between two Iffle tower like stations up in the heavens. The views are stunning and panoramic it is a must do experience when it Barcelona. Get off at the harbour end and stroll down to the beach to have a cool drink by the breeze of the Mediterranean Sea.

A beautiful area, decorated for Christmas with lots of lights, trees and fixtures. A clean and vibrant pedestrianised zone. The architecture of the surrounding buildings was stunning. Will be interesting to see when it is not Christmas time.

Not-to-miss place in Valencia, specially during the Falles festival, when firework shows are held everyday at 12 pm. The eclectic architecture of the buildings lining the square is also worth checking out. Note that you can visit the interior of the city hall for free (recommended). The roof-top bar of the Ateneu building has wonderful panoramic views of the square.

A focal point in city and a good starting place to explore the sites, many of which are within easy walking distance.
There are plenty of cafés etc to grab a bite and a drink as well as touristy things.
They often have extra little events such as the exposition and brass band I saw today.

Lovely large place, mainly pedestrian. Sometimes is empty, sometimes you have small shops and exhibitions. A beautiful place to enjoy the towns architecture.

The very city centre of Valencia and naturally one of the must sees in the city. The place is surrounded by various cafes, bars, restaurants. It can be very hot during the summer days, thus be sure to have a bottle of water with you.

Valencia city center is one of the main places to go when you are visiting Valencia, I'm sure that every time you go there is something new to see.
The whole plaza architecture is gorgeous every building you can see is different in design and details.
Now you can really enjoy it since it has been cut off for traffic and it has become peatonal ,with bars and shops.
