Roman Circus of Toledo

Definitely worth visiting. Contrary to a previous review there are several interp signs in Spanish and English (focusing on the archaeological excavation). It is a ruin obviously but you do get a sense of what this magnificent structure was like.

Definitely worth seeing. Near historical part of the town, just a few steps from the city walls. Could be some more information about the Circus and its history on the info board. Anyways, you can imagine how impressive it was back in the days. The park itself is clean, and, what I found curious, there's only one lawn - most of the area is the sand. Some interesting trees around there, like the black mulberry for example.

If you’re visiting Toledo and want to see something outside of the regular tourist attractions, are looking for some more nature, or have interest in the history of the city this spot is close, easy to find, and a great view.

I was stunned that you can move freely in while park where is this sight from Romans located.

Amazing scale, seek out the boards for more info and the insight into the history of the rise and fall (and partial rise again!)

Place which is worth to see being in Toledo, giving imagination by the size.

Una obra increíble, es una pena, que no se le de mayor importancia.
Un circo romano, que pasa desapercibido para muchos.
Hay mucho de la antigua Roma en esta ciudad

Realmente increíble lugar.
No he visto nada parecido.
Cementos antiguos aglomerando piedras diminutas, resistiendo los siglos literalmente.
Ingeniería de muy alto nivel adaptada a los materiales del lugar.
Lo aconsejo mucho a todos los que pasan por Toledo.
Porque nadie sabe de este lugar.
Esta totalmente desierto.
Imprescindible.

Petit parc tranquille, bien fleuri, avec des ruines romaines bien conservées. Petite fontaine mignonne

Qué gran lugar. En mi juventud pasé horas y horas allí, o bien haciendo algún deporte o bien haciendo cosas menos saludables. Por mucho que busquen en las tumbas, ya no quedan muertos. Diría que tampoco hay fantasmas, pero no estoy segura.

Lugar histórico con más de 2000 años el cual el circo romano albergaba a Mas de 15.000 personas para el disfrute y jubileo de la población

Parque bonito para dar un paseo y tranquilo. Las ruinas del coliseo romano están bien pero al haber tanta plantas es difícil apreciarlo en su conjunto. Es un sitio ideal para paseo y relajarte, hay rinconcillos muy bonitos y está cerca de la muralla

Impresionante pedazo de historia en esta maravillosa ciudad de Toledo.
Yo, personalmente, no tenía tanta idea ya que quedarán tantos vestigios de la presencia romana en esta ciudad.
Ubicado en un parque bastante simpático con el que dar un buen paseo y poder sentarse tranquilamente, sin necesario.
