Modernista Celler - Catedral del Vi

This is a must do if you can make your way into town. We had a car, and I’m very glad we stopped for a tour and tasting. The staff was very friendly. We speak Spanish but everyone spoke English and Catalan as well. The tour is self guided, so you can take your time and take lots of photos. The four wines we tasted were wonderful, and the range of prices for wines to take away was perfect for any budget. They also offer a small plate of snacks with the tasting that we did with some lovely cheese and chorizo. The building is simply stunning. I took way too many pictures.

Great Museum in one of the most beautiful vineries in a modernist 1920s building explaining the history of local winemaking of a local wine cooperative...nice audio presentations in major languages. Well guided tour...nice wine tasting at the end...recommendable 5 stars.

This is great place to visit. Looking great from the outside and inside. Nice wine and olive to taste. Recommend also to eat something in restaurant. We took menu, which I believe is in reasonable price and offers delicious, interesting food.

Wonderful self guided tour of a very cool building. When I arrived I learned the restaurant is currently only open on the weekends, but you can buy a tasting that comes with a small plate of bread, oil, cheese, meat- I ordered two plates (😅) to match my four wine tasting and called it lunch! No regrets.

What a wonderfull museum! The tour of the Cathedral is done with some really good audio equipment giving you very detailed information about the history and use of the Cathedral. The inside of the place is very beautifull and the staff is very friendly, we really enjoyed our tour!

For lovers of architecture, as well as for lovers of good food.
Don’t miss the lunch menu consisting of four set appetizers plus a main and desserts of your choice.
Kids will love picking their desserts (note the plural!) presented by a friendly staff on a serving trolley.

Compared to the excellent value at the restaurant, wine prices at the shop seem a little at the high end.

Magnificent building that really shows the catalonia spirit! Very interesting tour with outstanding tourguides and delicious wines to taste! Must see!

One of the most beautiful Modernist (Art Nouveau) buildings in Catalunya! The wine they offer is so delicious and the staff is wonderful!

Absolutely worth it! Give yourself enough time to properly visit and enjoy the wine tasting afterwards because it's much more enjoyable than you might have predicted!

Visita molt ben feta, val la pena parar i mirar aquesta joia modernista de dins. I els vins, molt bons! Recomano la visita premium amb la cata de 4 vins!

La Bodega modernista de Pinell de Brai, de l'arquitecte Cèsar Martinell. Es va començar a construir el 1919. Preciosa expressió arquitectònica del cooperativisme agrari en Catalunya de finals de segle XIX.

Es tracta d'un edifici modernista, projectat per Cèsar Martinell, deixeble de Gaudí, i paga la pena de veure'l com hem fet nosaltres, amb visita comentada, tast de vins i dinar al restaurant, què és al primer mòdul de l'edifici. És preciós, disposa de botiga on comprar vins 🔝 (l'oli s'havia acabat... 😒) i s'hi menja bé. Què més podria demanar?
