Albergue Só Por Hoje

This is an absolutely wonderful albergue located on a quiet street in the centre of Astorga. The owner is a friendly and wonderful person. You get sheets and towels, which is a very nice treat. You can also get a delicious home-cooked meal. I highly recommend this place.

clean. modern. well organized. what else could you ask for?
it took a while to find the address, but it's well worth the trouble. no bunk beds, all low beds and a free bath towel to use! use a code for entry after-hours.
no kitchen available but lots of restaurants nearby and a super mercado is a 10 minute walk away. in the morning, a breakfast in paper bag is prepared for each pilgrim to take out or eat before leaving.

The host is very friendly, attentive and helpful. She goes above and beyond to offer the pilgrims a nice time at her Albergue. The place is beautiful, cozy and clean and made me feel like home. I would definitely go back if I have the opportunity!

Patricia was very kind, friendly and patient. She lives in the same building so I felt like staying at a friend’s place. Super clean and well designed. I used the laundry services and am very happy. Very close to the Square and good restaurants.

Clean, well furnished rooms and a warm, friendly host. We enjoyed the Brazilian dinner.

Unique experience at great value. Single beds with private locker, bed light, real sheets and cotton towel. Very comfortable bed. Really nice and homey common area where you can relax in the big comfy sofa or chat with Patricia on the kitchen bar stools while she prepares the evening traditional Brazilian dinner. She and her family is very friendly and relaxed and I highly recommend this place for a great and authentic experience on the Camino. Recently opened so they don't have many reviews yet.

Patricia, being a pilgrim herself, totally understand what we need! She’s a great host and keeps her place clean, comfortable and homely!!!

Difficult to find, but worth it! Quiet area but close to everything. Clean, modern furnishings and no bunk beds! Breakfast included, but dinner is extra. Secure (garage) parking for bicycles.

One of the most excelent albergue for pilgrims doing the Camiño. Excelent beds, amazing food and the owner makes everyone fell like home.

Patricia - you are amazing, Tu casa es mi casa, la verdad. I enjoyed my stay here, it is definitely the best place on the Camino. This is your home for the time you need.

Owner operated. 20€ for bed and breakfast. Not a bunk bed, your own single bed with clean sheets and a towel. The place is spotless and very comfortable.

Limpio,céntrico y excelente trato de la anfitriona, con cena brasileña opcional muy rica. Sin duda recomiendo este albergue de 10 camas en habitación mixta. Tiene dos habitaciones privadas,así que si eres de sueño ligero,mejor reservar alguna de ellas.

Das Ankommen fühlt sich wie zu Hause an. Ein warmes Gefühl umgibt einen und die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich. Die Bette sind Einzelbetten und schon mit richtiger Bettwäsche aus Baumwolle bezogen. Zusätzlich bekommt man ein frisches Handtuch. Wenn genug Personen zusagen, kocht die Gastgeberin fur das Abendessen ein brasilianisches Menü und erzählt kurz über die Geschichte der Herberge. Das Frühstück ist ausgewogen und wird mit allen Bewohnern an einem Tisch gegessen. Diese Herberge schafft das Gefühl von Gemeinsamkeit und Freundschaft, dass ich in nur wenig anderen Herbergen kennenlernen durfte. Vielen Dank Patricia für die Unterkunft "Nur für Heute". Dieses Erlebnis werde ich für immer in Erinnerung behalten.

Eine sehr zentral gelegene Herberge, Daniel, die Vertretung der Chefin, nahm uns herzlich in seine Obhut.
Das Haus ist modern und sauber.

Punktabzug gibt es für ein sehr einfaches Frühstück ( das hatten wir schon deutlich besser ), bei dem vor allem das spanische Weißbrot vermisst wurde. Angeboten wurde ein einfaches Toastbrot aus dem Supermarkt. Schade.

Patricia es encantadora y muy atenta. Perdimos una tablet y ella se encargó de enviarla a nuestro destino. Estamos muy contentos con el trato recibido y sin duda volveremos!
