I spent a very relaxed night at Casa de Agua after a long day on the Camino. The host (Jose) was extremely polite and nice, going out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable. Although I do not speak Spanish and the host had little English, we managed to get by just fine. The property is a beautiful 300 year old farmhouse with a lot of charm and has been beautifully renovated. Dinner was provided, including pick up and drop-off, at a nearby hotel and I enjoyed a very nice breakfast at the property before being dropped back at the Camino trail the following morning. I would recommend to anyone looking for something a little different and higher end to the usual accommodation along the Camino trail.

A fabulous boutique hotel, fantastic features but bit remote and difficult to converse ,if you have no Spanish

The host accused me of cheating on the Camino whilst I actually got lost. There was no supper as indicated and he speaks no English. I would not stay there again
