Top-notch pension with excellent amenities, charming service, and beautiful location. Just a few steps off the trail, this is a perfect spot for your last night on the Camino. Almudena is a lovely, friendly hostess. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Don't miss the Texas-style BBQ smoked chicken from her pitmaster, Jose Luis, which you can enjoy with a cold beer while relaxing by the pool. Can't wait to return!

Great location right off the camino with beautiful rooms, felt like home! Almudena's son cooks a wonderful smoked chicken for dinner which was delicious. Great hosts and very comfortable hotel, I would definitely stay again!

An oasis. Everything was perfect… tranquil and cozy rooms, marvelous sunset and sunrise views, incredible food (the barbecue dinner is one of the best and most unique I’ve ever had. I am still dreaming about it…), and wonderful hosts. One of my most memorable and cherished nights in two years walking the Camino. Thank you Almudena and Jose Luis! I’m already looking forward to coming back!

An absolutely incredible place to stay. The rooms were so tidy, spacious and clean. The hosts, Almonde and Jose, were incredibly accomodating and helpful. We stayed two nights (16th and 17th June).

It was soooo great. Smoked roast chicken the first night and BBQ smoked ribs the second night. Vegetarian meals for those who required them. Breakfast was great and filling. Remember, if you stay here you are staying in a home, not a Pensione or Hotel. You are invited in as family guests and that’s how we felt.

The swimming pool was a most welcome addition to the long walk. This place is a 12 out of 10! Possibly (and it’s a big call) one of the best stays in the Camino!!!

Mar de Frisia was our last stop after 9 days on the Camino. It was, by far, the best place we stayed. Just a few steps off the Camino, it is quiet and secluded. The pool was awesome! The grounds are beautiful. Perfect place to cool off (heat wave, y’know) and enjoy a restful evening before hitting the trail and finishing up in Santiago. All the rooms are so well done, the house and grounds are beautiful and the owner is awesome. Don’t pass on the dinner option (I think 10euros) - the best smoked chicken in Spain!
Totally appreciated the simple breakfast and coffee included. It was just right!

Mar de Frisia is a wonderful Oasis on the end of the Camino de Compostela! Our room was very comfortable with a view of the lovely pool and mountains in the distance. The grounds are beautiful and the pool very inviting! The breakfast is ample with lots of healthy options to get your day started. We opted to add the BBQ chicken dinner and it was delicious as well! Great hospitality be the owner and her son. We will be back!

What a beautiful place. From the comfortable, clean rooms to the expansive grounds and pool, this place is a delight.The owner is a charming hostess who is very genuine and welcoming. Located steps away from the Camino, it is a lovely place to rest and recharge. In the evening a Texas style BBQ plate is offered for a small fee and it is delicious. I will be returning!

Very beautiful house, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Great host, very friendly and a nice meal is served in the evening for a very reasonable price; a rich breakfast is included already. Pool is available to the guests. This hotel is a great option if you are on the Camino to Santiago for example.

Fuimos un matrimonio,un niño de 4 años y un perro. La atención de Almudena es excepcional, súper atenta y simpática. Te aconseja en todo momento tanto sitios que visitar, como comer y cenar por la zona. Hace que te sientas como en casa y eso es de agradecer. En nuestro caso la habitación era muy amplia con acceso directo a la piscina. Todo limpio y con una decoración muy cuidada. Desayuno correcto(Almudena nos preguntó varias veces que si preferíamos otra cosa o si estaba bien así) Así que no se puede pedir más. Además tienes la opción de ir a su "cena tejana", o pedir algunas cosas a domicilio, que está genial si no te apetece moverte de allí. La piscina y el entorno genial.
Si vas en coche está muy cerca de varios sitios de interés.
Totalmente recomendable.

Lugar estupendo para hacer una parada en el Camino. Íbamos dos adultos y 3 niños y la anfitriona nos trató genial. Tiene piscina y un jardín enorme. Las habitaciones son cómodas.

¡Excelente lugar y servicio! Venimos haciendo el camino y de todos los lugares en los que nos hemos alojado este ha sido el mejor.

La alberca es un detalle ecepcional ya que uno viene cansado y con ganas de relajarse. Siendo una pensión relativamente pequeña y de pocos cuartos tambien se disfruta la tranquilidad. Los cuartos son amplios bellos y bastante limpios.

Almudena se portó bastante amable y de gran ayuda en lo que fuimos necesitando durante nuestra estancia.

La propietaria encantadora, camas y almohadas estupendas, por poner alguna pega, pensábamos que estaba más cerca de o' pedrouzo, pero fue error nuestro.

Un lugar perfecto para descansar después de un largo día de camino. La anfitriona es buenísima onda y muy servicial, los cuartos amplios, lindos e impecables. La alberca definitivamente es un detalle importante 😎

Sin duda, la mejor estancia de todo el camino. Es un sitio increíble. Cuenta con una piscina de sal y un jardín muy bien cuidado.
La habitación y el baño espaciosos e impolutos.
Además, la dueña, Almudena, es atenta y muy agradable. Para cenar prepara pollo a la barbacoa con ensaladilla y para desayunar te encuentras zumo, café, tostadas, bollería... Todo riquísimo.
Nos ha encantado pasar un día allí. ¡Gracias de nuevo, Almudena!
