Camping A Vouga

Great campsite. Basic facilities, nice bar, best views. We were happy to stay for a few days. Really good area for walking, cycling and exploring. We will definitely be back!!

One of the best campsites we have been on. Its selling point is location - beside a superb beach. The facilities are probably in need of updating but they were adequate and clean. The restaurant served us a good lunch on the terrace overlooking the beach.
We were there in June and it was busy. I suspect it is heaving in July and August but outside those months I strongly recommend this site.
If you have a motorhome beware the trees! Most of the pitches are narrow and we saw several people having difficulty including one who did a lot of damage to their vehicle having an argument with a tree. The tree won the debate.

Camp right on top of a gorgeous beach? Yes please!
Toilets should be improved, but with this location we can't complain much :)

This place is lovely, it’s not actually on the main road the beach is quite a bit down from main road. Beautiful clean beach water still and calm and clear great for kids. No smell of sewerage, site facilities clean and restaurant good. Beautiful views. A must stop. Slightly more expensive than some places €38 for 2 adults van and electric, bit include dog of you have one and child of 2 years old.

Really lovely location, great hosts and good restaurant! Although it is next to the road, at night it is dark (no pesky lights shining into your camper) and very quiet. Beautiful view from our spot with a nice hum of the ocean at night. Not sure about the complaints about it being too small for big campers, you just need to know how to drive your camper... then no problem!

Stunning campsite in the forest. We chose a spot towards the back and had mountain view plus a little stream next to us. Great walks that start just near the site too. Bit of a walk to the toilets and washing up facilities if you stay at the back so pick a spot closer to bar and reception.

Great views over the ocean. On the beach.

Lovely site, quiet, right on the beach, lovely beach. Great restaurant but slightly expensive. Very very clean toilets and showers. Highly recommend

Friendly service and good food in a well appointed bar, terrace and dining room.

Yet again we sat on the terrace with a drink and the dolphins appeared. Great sea view pitches available and the facilities are spotless.

The best

Ein ordentlicher kleiner CP mit tollem Blick aufs Meer (G Reihe). Direkter Zugang zum weitläufigen Strand. Restaurant mit Mittags- und Abendmenü. Frischer Fisch und Muscheln. Alles lecker. Netter Empfang obwohl fast nur Spanisch gesprochen wird. Aber mit Geduld und einem Lächeln ist alles möglich.

Un kamping pequeño acogedor la gente muy simpatica. Apto para autocaravanas y una playita estupenda. Del restaurante. Comida estupenda recomiendo el pulpo a la gallega y la tarta de zanahoria.

Venus pour une nuit en étape nous y sommes restés une nuit de plus avec plaisir. La situation sur la plage est parfaite. Le restaurant cuisine de délicieux plats (poulpe, daurade et morue testés. Tres frais et bons). Pain et viennoiseries peuvent être achetés sur place.
Personnel accueillant. Camping calme.
A 2kms environ le village de Muros est sympathique, accessible à pied.
La plage de sable en contrebas du camping est propre. 38€ la nuit pour 2 adultes 1 van et l'électricité

Schöner kleiner Platz direkt am Meer. Sehr schön grün und Sauber. Toller Strand und nettes Restaurant

Goed verzorgd. Vriendelijke en behulpzame beheerders. Leuk restaurantje met uitzicht op de oceaan. Camping kijkt uit op en ligt direct aan oceaan. Strand is ruim en lang. Water is rustig en kraakhelder. Echt aanrader als je rust zoekt. Tip: als je vroeg arriveert heb je kans op een plaats direct aan het strand/water.
