In three months traveling around Spain and Portugal this is without a doubt the best camp site we have found, lovely grassy pitches with lots of shade, fantastic swimming pool and bar area. The owner is very friendly and even offered us a table and chairs to take to our pitch as we are traveling on a moto and can’t carry these things. A short walk into town with shops and bars, you couldn’t ask for more and at a great price. 9/10 for me.
Some great riding in this area.

Best camping we stayed for our entire trip in Spain. The owner is a passionate, friendly person that loves what he is doing, a rarity in the bigger Spanish campsites. The views are amazing. The facilities might not be modern and slick but they are clean and worked for us. Perfect Wifi. The best place to explore the Sierra Nevada surroundings. Entering with a 7,5 meter caravan is a bit of a challenge, take the exit not the entrance, but it's do-able. We will be back for sure.

I enjoyed my stay at this camping site. Tino, the owner, was the most friendly, helpful, attentive, and caring person I encountered throughout my 5 weeks of touring Portugal and Spain. I cannot recommend his campsite enough. Very quiet, peaceful, sunny, breathtaking scenery, lots of almonds all around to collect, and above all the comfort of the campsite. I have to mention the powerful water pressure that is provided at the campsite, I was astounded how much water was coming out of the taps at that height in the hills, I believe we were at 900 metres above the sea level although it felt like 1200 metres. My car needed attention so Tino kindly contacted the nearest garage and arranged for them to see to my car, he also drove there to show me the directions. Thank you Tino. Until next January, I will be there. Anna

Very nice campingside. The infrastructure is solid (remember it is in the middle of the mountains). You get everything a camper needs and the owner is super friendly and helpful. He provides you with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The village near the campingside is very beautiful and it is an original Spanish mountain village with a small supermarket, two bakeries, a restaurante, a bar and a bank. It is a good starting point for hiking!

Tranquilo! Stayed at the campervan site for three nights. A very peaceful spot close to the alpines. Facilities are basic but very clean with hot showers, which is all you need basically :). Tyno is a superb host, very welcoming and friendly! Gave us tips for nice hiking areas nearby, getting around, and even taught us where to spot snow. Lovely campsite and I enjoyed it very much.

We had a one night stay with our van. What a location. The views were wonderful. Large, flat pitches. Ample facilities with wonderful shower pressure and hot water. Lovely restaurant, bar and pool area. But the most impressive thing about this camp ground is the hospitality. We have seen nothing like it during our trip. Wonderful friendly and knowledgeable service is really what gets the 5 stars here. If you like the wilderness, getting away from the touristy spots and good company this is the place to stay. We did the 8.5km hike from the campground which is lovely too! Would definitely recommend to others.

Best couple of nights here! We arrived to a lovely welcome by Gerard. He signed us in and let us choose our own spot (maybe because it wasn't peak season)

Anything we needed, he would sort out for us. Letting us use the washing machine (you need a key) and showing us hiking trails to take, wifi, etc. I could live here!!

Fantastic location, facilities a views! We visited for 2 days in November so it was likely more quiet than normal. Regardless it was a very peaceful area with clear skies and little noise. Staff were friendly and we look forward to visiting again very soon!

One of the best campsites i've ever been to. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. He has a lot of good tips for the area. The view is incredible and they even have a whirlpool. 100% recommended!

Such a beautiful and quiet location for a campsite. A really friendly welcome by the host Tino who can't do enough for you and has all the information about the area (we did the 10k loop walk which started from the campsite which was gorgeous). Clean bathrooms and powerful showers with plenty of hot water. Plenty of power outlets and water points. Would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful campsite with fantastic views and really clean facilities. The water pressure in the showers was excellent and the water was really hot. The swimming pool area is lovely, and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time, despite it being August. We only ate at the onsite restaurant once for lunch but the food was nice, and the views from inside the restaurant out on to the Sierra Nevada are amazing! We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!!

Stunning location right in the mountains. Beautiful views from the camping spots and grassy which is lovely to pitch the tent on. The owner Tino gave us a very warm welcome and suggested an amazing walk in the mountains that started right from the campsite. With epic panorama, waterfalls, almond trees, wild lavender and lizards (!!!) to spot, it was one of our favourite afternoons of the holiday. The facilities are clean and there is a big pool and nice bar with lovely tapas and local honey and eggs to buy also. We did and they are delicious! A must stay if you are travelling the area. Thank you Tino!

Great experience.

I came to the campsite after picking up an injury in the Sierra Nevada. Tino, the owner, was an absolute diamond - going out of his way to ensure I had a comfortable stay.

Camping facilities were the best we experienced in the region: great pitch, clean showers/toilets and incredible views to boot.

Would recommend to anyone passing through on a hike or those looking to stay a while enjoying Laroles and the surrounding area.

We had a really nice experience at the Safari Tent, but my favorite corner of this Camping base is the sofa zone inside the dining room, it’s so comfort and relaxing.

Wonderful camping experience! I´ve visited a lot of campsites throughout Andalusia, and this is my favorite for its natural setting, the attention and care from Tino and the rest of the staff and the relaxed atmosphere of the campsite - it clearly attracts campers looking for tranquility opposed to rowdy party campers. It´s a great spot for kids because there´s tons to do in the surrounding area, it has great pool, restaurant and even a trampoline! We will be back for sure. Photos are of a butterfly at the campsite and the pueblo, Laroles

Great campsite, proper grass for tents, clean shower block, lovely pool and great friendly service. Food at restaurant was nice too. Lovely place to stay if you're camping on the GR 7 Camino.

Nice, tidy and very friendly staff that goes that extra mile to make you feel welcome + it has a jacuzzi in the price. Talking about prices, very affordable. To top it off, pets are welcome.
