Really authentic Italian food. Fabulous warm greeting and service from Max and his team. Hubby says the lasagne was the best he’s ever had - and he’s sampled lots! You will get real culture rather than commercialised food and service at fantastic prices. Will definitely return when we visit this part of Spain. Don’t miss it!

Fantastic evening here tonight. Such friendly welcome! The food and service were amazing! We ordered the lasagne based on a previous review saying it was the best they ever tasted and we totally agree and we had the seafood pasta based off pictures from a previous review and it was incredible. If you’re anywhere near Pego you must visit this place. Absolutely fantastic. 5* all day long! 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 beers, 2 wines = 43E (£35)

Buonissimo! We had a great experience here and will definitely go back. The pizza is authentic Italian and very tasty. We also had a lemon dessert, which was sooo good! Finished off with some limoncello, a nice touch, which makes the experience all the more Italian. Nice to finally have an authentic Italian restaurant in Gandia with Italian owners :)

Max made us feel very welcome, even letting us use his laptop to entertain the kids! Best pizza we have had in Gandia, if not ever. We had a great meal there and Max and his wife are very friendly.

Second visit to the new Vive L’Italia Gandia. As usual a very warm welcome, excellent service and delicious fresh Italian cooking!! Our son rather enjoyed his Diavolo pizza … 🍕

Max did it again! You could not be made more welcome anywhere and as for the food......you won't get better Italian food in Italy.
I don't normally get beaten by a pizza but we had to have the awesome aubergine and mozzarella starter.....I'm not even that bothered about aubergine but this is different class.
Max is so obliging....he is happy to deviate from the menu for example I asked for a calzone with diavolo contents....no problem. My other half asked for spaghetti with seafood rather than the penne on the menu.....again no problem.
If you're in town.....or even somewhere near.....just come and eat here.
Like us....you will be back.

Another amazing meal at Viva L’italia! So sad to see them leaving Pego, but we will definitely be making the trip to Gandia to enjoy this fabulous authentic Italian food and amazing pizza from Costello ! Good luck to Max, Costel and Argentina.

Great new pizza place in Gandia. We had pizza for lunch, next time will try pasta. Actually we want to try all from the menu. Great service, A++++++

I went here with my sister, her two kids and my mom. I only have words of praise for them. The young man from Romania that waited our table did all he could to make sure we enjoy our time there. He did an amazing job and the food was awesome as well at an affordable price. I can highly recommend this place!

Yesterday,the most delicious seafood pasta ,all fresh produce, I asked Max if I could have spaghetti instead of penned, nothing was a problem, I wish all restaurants had this bang on service, thank you Max

What a great find! The restaurant is only small and we had turned up without booking and luckily they had room as there were just the 2 of us. We had a cheesy garlic bread to share and a pizza each. Food was amazing, delicious and arrived on our table super hot. It’s so fresh, you can tell they only use quality ingredients. Staff were great, very welcoming and attentive. We will definitely go back, I see this being one of our regular “go to” places 👍

Best pizza I have ever had in Spain.

Amazing food, friendly staff. I had pizza, it was probably the best I've ever had. The rest of my party had pasta which was excellent. The house wine was very good and the ambiance was great. The bill was a shock, it was so cheap! We left a big tip and will definitely return.

A hidden gem in Pego. Family run restaurant with proper Italian pastas and pizzas. The aubergine starter is delicious. The pastas are light and yummy. The owner from Napoli knows his stuff and makes you feel like a friend from the moment you walk into his restaurant. Prices are great too. You must try this restaurant. We have just moved to Pego and we will be going to this restaurant regularly and with family and friends that visit too. Magnifico. Jackie

Came to this little Italian Restaurant by chance and now my favourite. Excellent service and nothing is two much. Pasta dishes and pizza out of this world. Also brilliant music night two weeks ago with dancing and singing. Thank you Max 😃

I had heard talk about authentic Italian food being the best out there, but this restaurant confirmed it. Limoncello shots on the house and the best carbonarra and pizza I have ever had in my life.
