Restaurante El Algar de Don Joan

Located by beautiful waterfalls attraction near Alicante. Big restaurant and bar with swimming pool and kids playground. You can seat inside, on the terrace or chill by the pool. We had Paella for late lunch and coffee by the pool to chill after the meal. The variety of food is brilliant, especially seafood is very interesting. Smoothies and freshly squeezed juice is amazingly tasty. We enjoyed our meal, drinks and entire stay as we spent about 4 hours there. I think its one of the best restaurants around Algar Waterfalls to go to! Highly recommended!

We had lunch here before going to the waterfalls. The staff were nice and service was fast. We had the menu and the food were delicious at a reasonable price. The place has swimming pools for adults and children. It can be busy on weekends.

Just saw the restaurant and stopped here with no idea how amazing the food can be! Definitely recommend both beef and chicken. The staff is also very nice and they have a good vibe.

Good food, good prices and lovely service. Also great place to have lunch whilst your kids play in the play. Recommended to make a reservation. It is walking distance from the waterfalls, so great to combine this visit.

Was taken by roundtown expeditions. Got to try the local nispero. Food was good but atmosphere was a bit lacking.

We came for lunch after having a bath in the fonts del algar, menú del día was amazing, portions were very generous, we had to take half of the paella home with us!
The pool in the restaurant is quite big as well and the service by the waitress was very welcoming.

Great place for family thanks for the swimming pools and playground. Paella and calamares were very good. Service was polite and edficient (mind that the paella us prepared on the order so you will need to wait approx 35 minutes)

Lovely restaurant with a good menu and good value. Also includes free use of the pool and has an array ice cream flavours. Would highly recommend a visit.

Delicious paella and aioli.

The best restaurant in fonts del algar by far, try the chicken a la brasa! Char grilled half chicken, the best! If you eat in you also enjoy the pool for free! I have been coming here for over 30 years. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Very good, the food and service was great. This restaurant also has the added benefits of a pool and playground. There is also free parking. 5 stars!

Good food, great value and lovely location. The added bonus is the use of a large swimming pool with seating/loungers and a children's pool and play area.

This is my 4th year in a row we have visited this place.
Pizzas are amazing and service superb..
Kids still love the swimming pool..
