Hotel Silken Indautxu

Great hotel to stay in Bilbao. Very confortable, good location, lots of cool bars and restaurants around, and just a few minutes from the city center...

pretty nice hotel in a good location. they did do construction on the roof at 8 am while we were there… why?

Everything you expected of a hotel from its category… however, the difference and the reason why you must choose this hotel is because the breakfast buffet! Everything you want is there! You’ll never get tired of take breakfast there ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean rooms, rather spacious and considering the location, overall good value for money.
No coffee/ tea making facilities in the room either. The minibar is decent and it’s all on payment but it’s a good idea. The bathroom has all necessary toiletries.
And the smell around inside the hotel is deceiving.

Hotel standing out for its excellent electric car charging allowing us to effectively charge at 59 kW. Additionally there are another 2 charging spots at 11 kW. Otherwise, super friendly service, nice area full of bars and restaurants, good exterior sound insulation. Walking to the old town takes 15 minutes. Guggenheim maybe 20 minutes. Only the interior sound insulation we found not so good as we could hear all activity in the hall. Overall very happy with our stay.

Nice place to stay in Bilbao. One particular older fellow during our initial registration was unaware I am a native speaker, and he insulted my husband while asking for ID and credit card information. We were dog tired, so I just stared at him and called him shameful in Spanish. We did not see him again during our stay.

Spacious room with balcony (which we paid extra for). Walk in shower which was nice although floor a little slippery when wet. Should have an extractor fan in bathroom.
Breakfast buffet plentiful and well organised with fresh food being brought out rapidly. Bar with terrace lovely for a well priced glass of wine.

Central location, enough space in the room, good communication with the staff. There is a bar inside for relaxing after a tiring day. There are great restaurants near, 5 - 10 mins by walking. was very good.

Excellent location close to the best restaurant and shopping area in Bilbao, not too far from a metro station. Also close to buss terminal in case you want to, for example, take a day trip to go see San Sebastian.

The service is super friendly and i made an inquiry about a service i wanted in advance and the reply to my email was almost instant and they were happy to fullfil my request.

The hotel restaurant has a well-priced lunch and other services.

The room was spacious, perfectly clean and well equipped. Cherry on the cake was very well executed mirco concrete (cement) finish in the bathroom.

I have nothing negative to say!

We had a room on 5th floor but with inner yard view - it was great! A big room, silent at night, cannot complain. A parking is tiny, but still manageable. Although I think it is possible to find a spot on the street.

Very centrally and conveniently located hotel. It is located in the Indautxu District and is about 15 minutes walking distance to the Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.
Rooms are well appointed and the decor has a fresh and modern feel.
The breakfast buffet is absolutely top-rated. The Restaurant serves excellent lunch menu that costs €20 for a 3 course meal including wine. The staff is extremely efficient and polite.
The neighbourhood is very clean with numerous restaurants and shops nearby.

Nice hotel, good staff. Breakfast and dinner are also good. Nicely situated in the center of Bilbao. Parking garage a bit steep if you are not used to it.

Perfectly situated in the city center. Most hotspots within 1 kilometer. Clean rooms, great beds, very tasty breakfast. Friendly staff who speak proficient English.
Perfect for your stay for a couple days

Have stayed here many times whilst visiting my son and I find the hotel excellent in price, location, comfort, service and privacy, being very quiet in the rooms.
How anyone can question the location is beyond me. There are clearly some lazy people around who object to a 15-20 minute walk as within that time you can get to anywhere.
Any hotel needs some refurbishment unless you arrive the second the paint has dried and I find the Silken Indautxu is maintained in good order with an apparently revolving maintenance programme.
I love this hotel and strongly recommend it and I hope when my son moves to Madrid next year I find as good a hotel there.

The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Walking distance to all sights
Breakfast buffet is good but if you didn't get a package with breakfast or usually have a smaller breakfast, they have a cafeteria for a simple breakfast of croissant and coffee.
We arrived late and was attended to by Inuki and he has to be the most friendly service staff we have met in our 14 days in Spain.

Very good experience. We had a balcony with lovely view and the bed was super comfortable. Downstairs is a small square with some local bars, a must try. The room service was a pleasant surprise also with good food if you're lazy to go out :)

Beautiful hotel for our short stay in Bilbao. Very close distance to all the pinxtos bars, restaurants and the main pedestrian shopping street. Stayed in a twin room, both large and comfortable beds, all amenities provided. Staff at reception were very hospitable and helpful. I had left something on the train and they helped me called RENF to speak to them as my Spanish isn't fluent. Would happily stay here again!

Excellent friendly professional staff. Should have a kettle etc in each room and a complimentary small water.

Perfect experience, prime location with good service and nice rooms for the price.
