Bilbao Art Lodge

This was great hotel to stay at, for the price the room was great. It’s not big but again for the price you get a bargain. I stayed in the Sope room which has a king sized bed. Location of the hotel is good. Bilbao in general is a very walkable city and trains are very close, you can get where you need to be quickly.

The two cons are the bed was not comfortable for my standards and the walls are thin.

Other than that if I come back to Bilbao I will stay here.

The room was very clean and comfortable, there is an elevator also. It just take a bit of a walk to get to the old town

The simple explanation is I've never in my life been treated better at a lodging. Manu, Mikel and Alejandro were incredibly attentive to our needs and our questions. The location is fabulous, a walk to the train station, a block to the public parking garage (parking in Bilbao is very difficult) one of the highest rated restaurants in the world a half a block away and a handy general store right downstairs .
The lodgings themselves very clean and neat and tastefully done. When we go back we will definitely stay at the Bilbao Art Lodge again. Thank you Manu, Mikel and Alejandro for a most wonderful experience. Ron and Paz

Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Bilbao. Wonderful hospitality. It is very clean, with a really comfortable bed and super modern shower! A+ ! 😊

We had a lovely time at the Bilbao Art Lodge. Mikkel welcomed us with real kindness, helping us with parking and managing our luggage etc. The lodge is comfortable and amazingly quiet for such a central location. We slept well and after a wonderful trip to the Guggenheim we left in good time for our onward journey towards Hondarribia.

It wasn't until we got half way there (about 90 minutes away) that I realized I'd left my handbag in the bakery where I bought some snacks for our three boys. I called Mikkel and, to cut a long story short, Alejo spent an entire afternoon -- giving up his own work time -- trying to get hold of the proprietor, who happened to open up rather late that day.

Bilbao is clearly a very honest city because my bag was waiting for me at the bakery when I arrived. I offered to compensate Alejo for his lost time, but he said all he wanted me to do was to be kind to someone else if the opportunity arose. That made me cry, which was very embarrassing but sort of lovely too.

Thank you Bilbao and thank you most of all to Alejo and Mikkel for helping me when I really needed help.

Comfortable rooms and friendly hosts all situated in a fine central location. Great place to stay for a short city break.

Una habitación pequeña pero muy cómoda y confortable, tiene una bañera magnifica dónde descansar de un día largo, una cama muy cómoda y una mesa donde poder trabajar.
La decoración y la limpieza de 10.

La habitación estaba limpia. Tenia balcón, cafetera y una bañera enorme donde relajarte después de las jornadas de excursiones y caminatas!

Réservée pour nos 45 ans de mariage, chambre Menyakos spacieuse, superbement decoree avec salle de bain attenante. Literie parfaite 2m.
Pas de petit déjeuner servi, mais en face petit bistrot qui sert un jus d oranges pressées devant vous délicieux.
Le tout est à recommander fortement

Lugar céntrico y con buenos servicios de autobús muy cerca de la estación, habitación bastante bien para dos personas y camas buenas, salón comedor muy grande con 📺 y sofá 🛋 de acuerdo al salón…. Si hay tener cuidado con alguna calles de alrededor no es aconsejable pasar por ellas .

La verdad que hemos estado muy cómodos y no se oye ruido.
