Cute little bakery! I got here about 20 mins before closing and they were almost completely out of stock of everything! The shelves were bare because it's so popular. So get here sooner rather than later if you want more of a selection. Honestly the cookies I got were fantastic! They were like a thin cookie crisp with a chocolate coating base. I wish I had a picture but ate them too fast!

Everything is excellent here from the chocolates to the pastries. I tried the truffles and wound up taking home 2 boxes as gifts. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and generously tolerant of my very limited Spanish. There shops are a great place to stop for a quick bite and also to buy gifts to take home (they will attractively wrap the items as gifts). We visited both the shop and the cafe and were very pleased with each.

You absolutely need to try the bollos de mantequilla which a delicious type of sweet bread, super fluffy that melts in your mouth and has a touch of butter. I never thought such a simple thing would be so delicious. The almond croissant was also amazing! The staff is super nice and they have a wide selection of chocolates too. This place is a must try in Bilbao!

Pastelería clásica y con solera en Bilbao.
Situada en Gran Vía, entre plaza Moyúa y la plaza de López de Haro.
Tienen un amplio surtido, siendo famosas sus palmeras.
Compramos la de chocolate y está soberbia, con hojaldre crujiente y chocolate con mucho sabor a cacao.
Para repetir y probar otros productos.
El único pero es que la persona que nos atendió parecía enfadada y que solo hablaba con monosílabos.

Un clásico de Bilbao. Aunque el bollo de mantequilla tiene mucha fama, todo está estupendo. En especial, la palmera de chocolate, sin duda la mejor de la ciudad.

Maravillosas trufas, palmeras de chocolate y de coco fantásticas. Las Carolinas están buenísimas.Ahora hay gran variedad de turrones
