I've been to the Portland in the past and loved it for its lively, welcoming atmosphere, quiz nights and great service. Now though, they have really shaken it up in the food front - really delicious high quality Burgers they source from Galicia, and they are mind-blowing good! The Portland have always been about the little details, and it's refreshing to find a place that doesn't scrimp on quality in the face of a little extra profit... As a result, they have a loyal customers following, and I have a new favourite burger in Valencia 😊🍔 Hats off to Maurice & his team - they are doing a great job!

I definitely recommend the place for a bite and an ale.

I was visiting Valencia with my family and felt the need to watch some NFL since we moved to Spain. Thankfully they show the games using NFL RedZone which is awesome! The service is very friendly and the chili cheese fries were great! If you need a bit of home (USA) while in Spain, this is the place.

When people say you should stick with the Spanish style of dining and drinking while in Valencia but your football team needs your support on Sunday night, you just gotta stick with the authentic American experience, which Portland deliveres perfectly.

The food is amazing, guilty pleasure & the exact opposite of tapas - the homemade sauces are a cherry on top.

Great brews on tap, spirit selection on point and attentative service - this is a place where you can just enjoy yourself. Five stars without a doubt.

Great pub close to the city center. Loved the orange wheat and blonde beer! Menu is “pub classic”. Tortillas are just perfect / warm and served with a bit of jalapenos. Fish and chips is also great.
It is a bit sports oriented, so you can enjoy games!

I went to a private thanksgiving lunch and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff warm and kind. The decorations are really nice, the place is cozy and it makes you feel like you’re in the USA. They even have A football channel on the TVs!

Attended on a quiet Wednesday night but was really impressed by the range of draft beer available, all brewed locally by the owners. No boring mass produced lager here. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere in comfortable surroundings. The staff were friendly and happy to indulge in conversation. Will have to try the menu on our next visit!

American ale house experience in Valencia. American football on Sundays. Really good burgers and very friendly staff. Will be back again.

Strangely, as an Ale House, the beer wasn't my favourite -but everything else was perfect, the burger was amazing ! Staff were great, and a great place to watch sport.

Great bar. Really impressed with the selection of beers available (some of which they brew themselves) didn't have the chance to try the food. Would definitely revisit when next in Valencia.

This place is great! I went to watch American football and was surprised by how good the food was. I had their special burger and their IPA was also great. It seems like they changed their manager and kitchen a few months ago and the improvements are working! Great spot and will definitely be back.

I had a Texican Burger together with Quesadillas and 2 pints of their golden ale beer. All was delicious. Paid stg around €30

We had walked past Portland Ale House a few times during our recent stay in Valencia and decided to pop in for a quick drink

That quick drink turned in to quite a long drink!!!

We absolutely loved the placed!

There was a great choice of beers, the staff where incredibly helpful and polite.

There was a great atmosphere in the place and plenty of sports on in the background.

Such a cool place, with delicious, generously sized burgers, tasty handcrafted beer and a very welcoming staff.

We were there on 10th anniversary hooley so not sure it was busier than usual . Like an American bar beer was high strength so only stayed for one.

The food is some of the most amazing food I have had in Valencia! The atmosphere is fantastic and the service, attitude of staff, and the kindness of the owner far exceeded any service I have experienced. This place is incredible and a must-visit place! The orange wheat is my favorite (so try that!) and the nachos are to DIE for!

10/10 recommend to everyone!
