Restaurante Al Pomodoro

one of the best pizzas I ever had! wasn't very crowded, so we got our food in about 15 minutes. staff was very friendly too. :)) we liked it a lot.

We ordered lasagne and pizza quattro stagioni family size xxxl - just enough for three people. The dough was very thin and crispy, tasting very good, as well as the topping. Very recommended 👌

Good food, reasonable prices. Both our rigattoni were very good, all the pizza looked very well (did'nt taste any). Good service, a nice lunch in the center of Valencia.

Loved our visit to Al Pomodoro.

We arrived on a Sunday around 8.30pm with no booking and were seated immediately.

I chose from the menu of the weekend. It was incredible value. There was a completely seperate gluten free menu which had lots of great choices. Unfortunately no gluten free pizza as I was craving but everything was excellent.

The beef carpaccio was really nice but could have done with a pop of sweetness, balsamic reduction perhaps? The gluten free pasta with Gorgonzola sauce was excellent. The chocolate tart for gf dessert was rich and moreish.

My partner had a pizza of which the whole menu looked excellent. So many delicious sounding choices. He followed it up with panna cotta. It was a very affordable meal and the staff were excellent. Definitely recommend.

Great Italian restaurant located in the city center of Valencia with very affordable prices, great service and good looking interior. Had the traditional carpaccio as the appetizer and continued with the rigatoni forgot e tartufo and finished with traditional Panna Cotta. Each meal had delicious taste and was served in a nice way. Recommended for daily menus.

Excellent restaurant with Spanish and English speaking staff to cater for all. Fresh food and fresh ingredients for a reasonable price! Definitely worth a visit if in Valencia

Good food at very reasonable prices. Great crusts on the pizza but a little heavy on the sauce. The quinoa salad got two thumbs up. One waitress for the entire inside was a little understaffed but she was great.

Amazing experience at this place. We went there for lunch and had carpaccio for starters, pizza sticchiello as main and finally tiramisu cake as a dessert, while all were delicious. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful and the overal atmosphere of the place is amazing, since the place is Italy-themed and located in the city centre.

Best gluten free meal I had in Valencia. Very tasty pasta and tiramisu. Valentina was very welcoming and happy to help us understand the ingredients and make a meal choice. Strongly recommend the restaurant!

We cane here twice in 2 days. First night: good for a quick meal at 6pm - quick service. The waitress was helpful but a little rushed. Food - filling and tasty and a very good price for the quality of food. Second night: we came with 7 of us for a celebration meal. Again the staff were a little rushed, but took our order quickly. Food was very good again. Lovely rustic pizza with tasty toppings and the same for pasta. Great gluten free pasta options!!! Once things had quietened down the staff were much more relaxed and friendly. Overall a very good time - will defo be back if we come to Valencia again

We went here on our first night in Valencia, the food was fantastic the pizza was well cooked and seasoned, the ingredients tasted fresh. Service was friendly and fast. I will be back if I am in Valencia again!

A lovely atmosphere with helpful friendly staff. The food is delicious! We were in Valencia for a week and ate here twice!

Tasty italian food located in the old town. They have lunch menu on work days. The place is usually crowded. Quite fast service.

If you want to get something to eat before sampling the best nightlife that Valencia has to offer then Al Pomodoro is probably the place for you. A friend and I went here for dinner and the food is just perfect for sharing while having those great conversations that amazing food always seems to promote. The restaurant balances the look of an old-style Italian home with the freshness that you would expect from a modern restaurant.

We grabbed some pretty diverse options so we could sample the best that this place had to offer. The Cesto Fritto was fresh and the batter on the tempura was crisp – the ideal combination. The Sgabei Con Salse was a fresh take on pizza, which we have been looking for all our lives! It takes pizza dough, fries it and serves with a creamy cheese sauce, spicy salsa and black olive tapenade. You have to go to Al Pomodoro just for this.

The Tortellini Rustica Di Noci is like a taste of Italy on a plate. It is made fresh from scratch and tastes like it! The pasta is filled with a range of ingredients that includes nuts and tastes like you are sat in the Italian hills surrounded by family. Just amazing from the first bite to the last. We fought over every forkful! If you love the taste of truffles (who doesn’t?) then the Rigatoni Tartufo Gorgonzola will delight you. It did us!

Then the desserts are just as mouth-watering as the rest of the food. We got affogato and carrot cake with vanilla icing so we could share together. They both were the ideal way to finish a great meal. I recommend you visit al Pomodoro whenever you are in or near Valencia. It is worth it for the trip alone.
