You must stay here!
If you can alter your stages to stop in Ponte Campaña instead of Palas de Reí, do it! You won’t regret it.
This hostel is run by a lovely family and it is so cute! And it was really nice to be out of the big city and in a small Pueblo. There aren’t many more small towns left in the Camino and it’s starting to get crowded so staying in a country albergue was really nice.

A albergue run by family, with beautiful grounds and room. I got a perfect night with wonderful full dinner by the hostess. But there were few people that day so we slept well

The family traditions here are on display everywhere at this slburgue. The hardworking owners were very kind. The indoor and outdoor areas are wonderful places to relax. The food was great. The bunks were very comfortable. The bathroom and showers are very clean. My wife and I highly recommend staying here!

Awesome place. Really enjoyed staying there as a pilgrim. The bed was good, enough space, clean shower and a huge Garden. You can buy Drinks in the alberque. Also the pilgrim Dinner was good. Thank you for hosting me.

One of the most beautiful rural garden/farm settings on the Camino Frances, with access to a local creek ~100m away for a cold dip. Much nicer stop than Palas de Rei which is a pretty non-descript town with little beauty or character.

Dorm was comfortable and modern, food was solid with pilgrim menu for 13eur with the most flavourful soup I've had in my 5 weeks of walking, main pasta was filling but not as special.

A bunch of school kids showed up out of nowhere late around 22, they were mostly quiet and respectful. This can happen on Camino Frances after Sarria I guess during school holiday season.

Beautiful hosting couple who welcomed us with open arms and great kindness. I was tired and a bit grumpy and they made me relax and laugh! True hospitality!!!Lovely outside space to relax in, the beds were sooo comfy and solid. I felt truly at peace here!!! And the best Caldo Gallego on the whole Camino. We will return!! Gracias de Martha (Inglésa)

Best Albergue in the Camino! Love the location, the decor, the food and the owners' warmth. It's in the countryside, you'll be surrounded by nature, with plenty of outdoor space and a hammock. The two dorms are newly renovated in lovely countryside style and they don't have many bunk beds. Lots of privacy too. There is a big dining room with chimney where you can relax and chat to other guests, and plenty of sitting areas in the terrace and beer garden. Communal dinner was delicious and abundant, we all clapped in the end. Gonzalo and Ana are obviously doing a great job! Gracias por todo, Laura

This place is a jewel hidden from view. A wonderful setting in the middle of farmland. The food and service are excellent and the setting next to the river can't be beat. I highly recommend the private rooms which are just a short walk across the property. They are in a converted grain mill powdered by the river that is still in tact. Rustic classy cozy quiet and very reasonably priced. A place like this in California would easily cost 250-500 usd per night. I wish we could stay here more nights.

We had a great stay at Casa Domingo during our Camino towards Santiago. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and relaxing in the garden after a full day of hiking. Great communal dinner (must try the house wine!) and amazing vibe. It truly felt like we were part of the family. Thanks for having us! :)

The albergue is just incredible. After a long fairly lengthy walk today we decided to stop here for the evening - the best decision we've made next to deciding to do the Camino!
The food is incredible and caters for varied palates. The hosts (the lady and the gent) are great and offer you local tips as well as great drinks :)
The bedroom and facilities are perfect and the overall vibe is tranquil! Please visit here !!!!

Great value nutritious pilgrim meal, plenty of food; soup was particularly good. I had a private room in the old mill, which was very comfortable and very clean. Lovely staff - would stay again.

Such cozy albergue. I loved my stay here. The dorm is very cozy and warm, with a garden outside. It's small so it's quite- room is only big for 10-20? So if you're looking for quite albergue to sleep without 50 people staying in one room, this one is a go to. Staffs are friendly. There is no kitchen you can use, so you'd have to buy from their restaurant tho.

We came across this little gem on our pilgrimage. Right next to the river and quiet after a long day walking... the hosts are absolutely fabulous and so very kind. They serve soul food here, tastes like home cooked meals and we even had a long chat with the owners/ Chefs afterwards. They left us smiling!! Muchos Graçias ❤❤

I have stayed at the Casa Domingo several times while walking the Camino. Of all the albergues in Spain, it is my VERY favorite. The owner is wonderful, the communal dinner is wonderful. But most of all, the land the Domingo is on and the buildings on it are not like any other on the entire Camino- it is it's own little village. A beautiful stream runs through the property, and over the stream is a mill building where you can rent private rooms with a bath. Open your window, and the sound of the stream running underneath will put you to sleep.

...and in the evening that surprise dinner. everything was excellent and the wine....
We were the first Peregrinos this year 2017. what an honor!!

The private room in rural house is amazing. And we are really grateful. However, the restaurant service can be better. All in all this is Camino. Please be nice

One of the top 3 Albergue’s I’ve stayed in and the same goes for the restaurant. Friendly staff. Picturesque... nice dog lounging in the sun.

Probably the best private room and pilgrim dinner of the camino Frances. Lots of snacks and drinks as well. Very calm place.
