Restaurante Casa Fernando

We come to Spain and spend summers / winters every year. Most of the time, the food is just ok at best, and even the Spanish Michelin * are absolutely not worth the money. BUT, Casa Fernando is one of those incredibly wonderful spots that I really don't want to post about, just because I want it all to myself! Julio and Fernando are two absolute gems. They are the proprietors, and they work day and night to ensure the best of the best in all that is served.
I can go one for several pages, but It's best I stop now and say, just go. Go enjoy an incredible medium rare tuna, a top perfectly cooked potato with a wonderful caramelized onion, almost jelly like spread, go try the dry aged bone in Rib Eye salted to perfection, go try the normal Rib Eye and let it melt in your mouth like warm butter. Both crispy on the exterior and rare on the inside. The sea snails, wow, wow, wow, absolutely wonderful, and the presentation is fabulous. The wine selection is 2nd to none, Just go, eat, enjoy, and leave a nice tip. They deserve it! Just dont tell anyone, keep it a secret, and let's enjoy with our friends.

Definitely, one of the best family restaurant in the area. Service was on the top, all waiters were very polite and attentive. What about the food, everything was super delicious. I highly recommend - fried red mullet and tomato salad with anchovies.

Solid local cuisine with many seafood choices. Quick and great service. Great choice of wine! Loved it.

Casa Fernando is a fine restaurant in San Pedro that specializes fish and of course there are other types of food, the service is excellent, the food is great and the place is beautiful .

Cozy establishment , good service ..I recommend try scallops , salad with salmon and shrimp , and shrimp with garlic fried in armor, it's just a treat ))!!

An absolutely stunning setting for dinner and although your first thought might be " this is going to be expensive" it really isn't.
The service throughout our meal was excellent- as was the food. The chef even went to the trouble of preparing arroz for us (usually only available at lunchtime) and it was excellent.
The seafood potato salad as a starter was top class - creamy and loaded with seafood.
My son had the salt baked sea bream and he was very pleased with his choice.
Totally recommend this restaurant.

Came on a Tuesday for lunch. Had Sole meunière. Wine list is among the most extensive in the area with many great choices. Primarily Spanish.

As for service, I have read the bad reviews, which I don't recognise at all. I was treated fast, correct and professionally. What's not to like?

Exterior is what you expect from an Andalusian restaurant, except this one work with table clothes. Nice touch. Anyways - It's what on the plate, that matters.

A really nice place with great service. Had a thing that made me laugh and needs to be experienced so won't spoil it. Food was really nice and tasteful. Absolutely recommend this one

Fabulous villa restaurant. Easy parking and inside or covered outside dining available. With a robot bringing food to the tables the children are loving it too.

Great Spanish restaurant that predominantly specialises in seafood although there are some meat dishes.
The service was faultless, waiters very friendly and the food excellent. It has a garden area to eat in and covered section for cooler evenings. Cater for a minimum of €50 a head for a great evening.

This is an amazing find. The best fish restaurant I've been to for a long time. The service was faultless despite our pidgin Spanish and the food utterly delicious. I'd highly recommend the Salt Baked Sea Bass which was out of this world!
