The BEST camping we stayed at in Spain!
Super clean facilities with HOT water.
Staff was very helpful and kind!
Pitches are big and shaded.
Indoor pool was great for the kids.
Nice restaurant and shop for groceries.
Takes about 10 min to get to the beach, but it is a nice walk on a side road.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

There are a few places that hit the spot in your life. This is one of mine. Paradise! A beautiful area where life in all its forms is flourishing, where the food is first class and the people are kind and courteous. The owner and his staff are as good as it gets. The restaurant serves delicious good quality and value food, and the amenities are cared for. The toilet areas are spotless with singing ladies taking care of everything. 2 pools, in May the indoor warm pool was appreciated as the outdoor was ‘fresh’. Only 40 easy minutes from Santander. It’s in my top handful EVER. Please don’t tell your friends as I need to get back there soon and I don’t want to be turned away.

Really nice ACSI campsite, very helpful / friendly staff. Location is great, good / clean facilities, electricity and water at each spot. Got heavy discount as travelled as solo and the spots are priced for 2 persons! Can get busy even at low season

Loved this place, well located with good access to beaches & the mountains which is perfect for us. We walked & did some stand up paddle boarding. Perfect place for families, children & adults with the gym & a really good personal trainer in the gym on hand every day. Definitely recommend. Really friendly staff.

Top quality campsite in stunning surroundings -

*Fantastic fully serviced pitch with views to the Picos
*Friendly reception and restaurant staff who were always attentive and kind.
*Restaurant with very tasty food and great Sangria :)
*Immaculate showers (cleaned all day)
*Lovely pool area with pen area for dogs (not shaded)
*Oyambre beach only 15 mins walk

Other positives are that the site lies in between 2 beautiful towns (San Vicente and Comillas) Both amazing with plenty to see and do and quality restaurants. We had our dog with us and found the site to be extremely dog friendly - even given treats at the bar! Also the local beach has a huge area which allows dogs.
We didn’t have bikes with us but the area looked fab for cycling. All in all we had a lovely 9 days there although the weather wasn’t too good!

Choice of pitches with our large car and caravan. Water on pitch and good electric supply.
The staff are super friendly and helpful, loved the singing lady cleaner in the loo’s!. Everything was spotless.
Great bar, shop and restaurant serving a menu of the day for a very reasonable price. Take away available as well.

Oyambre beach is a 10(ish) min walk from the site and is beautiful 🤩
Would definitely use this site again and for a longer period of time.

Best Campground i ever camped on. Very clean and tidy. Super friendly staff, always someone on the reception, very reasonable prices and no loud party people on the campground. Super relaxed place. Also there are washing machines, there is a pool, wifi, a bar, a shop etc. We had water directly at our tent parcel. The beach is 2 min by car, 10-15min by foot. Beautiful landscape! Also you can park your car there easily.

Stayed for 2 nights, car and caravan, after arriving at Santander. Had stayed here 5 years ago so we knew it would be good! Everyone really friendly. Good size grassy pitch. Views of the mountains.
Were very brave and swam in outside pool on our first day, lovely to be able to do that at the end of April!
Ate from the 'special menu' one night, cheap and cheerful at €15!
Will be booking a few nights on our return journey to explore the area further.
Recommend Lupa supermarket in Comillas.

A really lovely camping site. We stayed with our large caravan and two children on a comfort pitch. The pitch was an excellent size (for Spain) with good water and power. Toilet/shower facilities were excellent and keep spotlessly clean. Pools were nice, but really the place to visit is the local beach a short walk away. On site shop was useful and friendly. Nothing bad to say about the site other than the local cockerel which woke us every morning. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A very pleasant campsite with excellent facilities. A bit too from the beach for an old man like me (15 minute walk) but there is!a good swimming pool on site.

Left the site yesterday morning and just arrived home. Second visit as first went before COVID. Booked 6 nights and stayed 14 - kids loved it and didn't want to leave. Reception staff - lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Bar staff - we went every morning for coffee and 2 ladies serving were great. Went to the bar every evening before dinner - served by barman with beard and glasses and he was great. Little shop which was really useful and usually run by the same man - like the rest of the staff, very polite and welcoming. We like to eat out at times on holiday and enjoyed eating on the site so much, we rarely went elsewhere - great value and good food. Beer a great price too. Lovely atmosphere around the place and had a great mix of nationalities - lots of Spanish which I think is always a good sign, French, Dutch, British, Italian..... We spent years in France - miss France bit not the difference in cost as Spain is so much cheaper.
The site is well looked after and toilets constantly cleaned - staff in there were lovely, one lady singing along to her music.
Kids absolutely love the pool and great to have an indoor option too. We both have busy jobs and like to relax when away in the campervan - when the kids are happy, it makes things much better. They would never have left the site if they had the choice.
I love the fact there is a little gym there - would be even better with a bit more equipment as if others in there, is difficult to train. Saying that, plenty of opportunity to train at different times.
Beach a short walk away - nice beach too with lots of surfers
Overall, sad to leave, would recommend to anyone and sure we will return. Arriving back in England in wet weather made us miss it more.

I can only echo other good reviews of this site, it is one of th e best we visited in Spain this year. Love the singing cleaner who polished the bathrooms beautifully thanks ladies. The heated pool was excellent and the restaurant and shop smashing. Nice 25 mins walk to beach that had a smashing bar and wonderful views of the snowcapped mountains. Don't miss this one. Mostly used as a ferry stop which is sad as 3 days was not enough. Get there earlier for a rest.

Excellent site, clean, tidy,well kept onsite restaurant very good, receptionist just lovely. Everything you want in a good site. Only loses a star because it's a bit of a walk to the beach which is sandy and clean

Clean site, good food, hospitable staff

Spent 3 days on this lovely site with good facilities including swimming pools. Whole site could just do with a lick of paint. Close easy walk to the beach. Pitches are fine and serviced. Went to the Restuarant last night, excellent food and service. A real gem! Would definitely return

The staff were polite and friendly at all times, and really helpful when we realised we didn't have the correct adaptor for our electrical lead. The showers, toilets, pool and park were clean and well maintained. The restaurant, though the choice was limited, was really nice, and the shop (mainly groceries) was well stocked.
Overall, we had a really pleasant stay, and our daughters had a whale of a time.
We shall be coming back, probably often.

10 Min walk to what is possibly the best beach I have ever come across, with excellent body surfing waves, amazing rock pooling, and fabulous snorkeling. Don't miss the lazy river at the East end at high tide!
