Camping El Helguero

A very good campsite. The ideal to visit Santillana del Mar, Altamira caves, Comillas and San Vicente de la barquera. Very clean like home and green like a haven of peace and serenity. I was there 3 years ago, i come again for a brief visit to Cantabria, and I will surly come whenever I feel like visiting Spain.

If you want to be in a quiet campsite in the country this is it. Huge pitches plenty space between pitches. Lovely pools. Showers/facilities spotless.
Really a great site and countryside beautiful. Good to use as a base.

Great place. First visited in 2019 and in 2022. Stayed in one of the cabins, these have been replaced since 2019, compact for a family of four but we weren't in it much apart from sleeping. Pools have been updated with addition of a covered pool. Facilities very clean. Lively bar / restaurant - had a really good local band playing on Friday night. Near Comillas beach and a good gate way for cycling in the hills, head out to Ville for a great climb. Really friendly helpful staff who speak better English than I can speak Spanish. Supermarkets ~ 15min drive away.

Super campsite lovely área, good plots. Hidden walk to village nearby. Staff a bit quiet. Great showers, hot water all perfect.

Great setting... lovely staff... our second cabin was absolutely fantastic! And so many great beaches and mountain walks nearby. Idyllic and so welcoming of our two dogs...

Everything you need. Very busy at weekend when the locals pack out the site. Reasonably priced too.

Beautiful campsite with well maintained grounds and spotless facilities. Staff very helpful especially Nedenia who is so lovely and friendly. Will definitely stay again

Lovely camping toilets a bit basic but spotless good shower restaurant seems always s open . Pretty area . Handy when you sail to Santander.

Very good Facilities! Nice staff, he let me see the Parcel before camping on it because he thought it was too wet! It was fine in the end.
