Shakti Rio Mino

This is the second time I have been to this beautiful place for a retreat and it was yet again magical. The place is an oasis of peace and calmness. The energy is amazing and Pam is a wonderful host who really makes you feel at home. Everything we needed on the property was provided and we have booked more weeks for next year for coming retreats. 😍

My third time being here and my second time hosting a retreat at this beautiful place. Every time I arrive I feel at peace and at home. The nature is beautiful and quiet, really close to the river Rio Mino. My students were impressed by the energy on the property and had a wonderful time. I will be back soon!!

Pam has just opened her yoga and pilates studio so I went along to try out a pilates class. What a fantastic hour and a half. Stunning setting with views as you practice over Portugal. Incredible attention from Pam made me feel the class was totally about me and what I wanted to get out of it. Just the right balance of demonstration and participation and really useful, practical advice. My body burned, stretched, strengthened and relaxed. I totally recommend trying out one of Pams classes.

Wonderful stay in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Pam as a host offers so much more than simple accommodation. Ask about her spiritual knowledge and incredible yoga skills and she will add another level to your stay. The property is family friendly with great walks nearby for all ages and abilities. I stayed at the Finca after completing the Caminho to Santiago and it was exactly what I needed: an immersion in nature and peace, a chance to relax and reflect on myself before my flight back.
A big plus was also meeting Pam, whose kindness and warmth made me feel at home straight away.
I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering walking any of the routes to Santiago!

I stayed with Pam last August. If you are on a spiritual journey and need somewhere authentic , safe , welcoming and beautiful this is your place. Everything is close by and perfect for you to be close to nature. Pam is an amazing authentic and beautiful host don't pass this one by !

Loved staying at Finca! Such a hidden piece of paradise, with a wonderful host. If you are looking for an escape plan, you found it! 10 min walk from the river, great local food and friendly people.

We had a great week of resting here after living in the van for three months! The place has a stunning view and lots of things to see around. The hostess is also very kind and she's willing to help if you have any needs! We recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Un lugar acogedor y maravilloso en el que pasar un fin de semana o el mes entero.
Alquilamos las dos casitas y el cottage un grupo de amigos para pasar el fin de semana y no podríamos haber elegido mejor.
Las 2 Casitas y el Cottage son acogedores, cómodos y tienen espacios muy agradables donde descansar y pasar el rato. La finca es una pasada, muy bien cuidada, amplia y con una piscina fantástica a la que le sacamos mucho partido (en esta zona hay un micro clima fantástico).
Está muy bien situada, a 5 minutos por un camino precioso hasta el río (donde puedes bañarte o andar en bicicleta) y a otros 5 minutos dando un paseo del núcleo de la aldea.
Pam, la dueña, es encantadora a la par que muy profesional. Solucionó todas nuestras dudas y nos sugirió lugares de los alrededores preciosos como Vilanova de Cerveira (a 5 minutos en coche en Portugal) o A Guarda (a 10 minutos en coche).
