Platja de la Fossa

Two minute walk from our hotel, a lovely walk down towards the rock and then it continues all around to the town centre. Very clean and great to just stroll and enjoy the sunshine and views.

Very nice area for evening walk and also great beach although we weren't beaching there. If was clean, not that busy and with great views! The letters of Calpe are a nice place to have a photo at (of course I have had a few). There are also lots of bars and restaurant that you coild choose from for a drink or a meal. Would recommend it, if in the area.

I visited Platja la Fossa on Spain's national day on the 12th of October. I have visited a lot of beaches in Spain over the years and this is without doubt one of the very best. Was extremely easy to find parking even on a national holiday.

The beach was busy but not crowded and we were able to pitch up right next to the water. Sand was pristine, water was turquoise blue and extremely calm. Lots of cafes and restaurants open and the view of the rock was absolutely breathtaking.

October is a fab month to visit too. Unlike peak summer you can stay the entire day without it ever feeling oppressively hot.

Great weather we were here for christmas

Great beach with very calm water normally. Good for families with kids as water is pretty shallow.

Calpe is a wonderful sleepy town (at least in May!) and Playa de la Fossa is a great Costa Blanca beach. Super clear and clean. Restaurants, shops, and many other things nearby.

It is one of the best beaches in the whole of Spain maybe as of 2023. The beach is clean with transparent water. Even one can see the fishes and corals while swimming. Again the beach is filled with great restaurants and cocktail bars. One can stay in nice hotels or BNBs even on the beach. It has a lot of different flavours together.

Lovely beach to chill out on for the day. Every night/morning tractors go out and sieve the sand. The sunbeds are reasonably priced for the day. The sea itself is pretty calm and shallow, great for kids and adults alike to go for a swim or paddling. Lots of restaurants and bars along the sea front to choose from. Also a great like ice cream parlour located next to Tango restaurant, where the staff are really friendly!

Stunning beach, clean waters

A very nice clean beach and a bit quieter than the main beach in Calp. It has a nice prom to stroll on. Out of season it can be a little too quiet and some shops and cafes are closed. No problem though, as you can easily stroll to the main beach and town in Calp where there is more action. Dogs (pets) are generally not allowed on the beach which is understandable as some pet owners may not clean up after their dogs.

A good clean beach which is cleaned by tractor daily. The promenade has a wide variety of restaurants, bars and of course tourist shops however more pleasant than nearby glitzy Benidorm
