Cafetería Óskar

While waiting for a seat to open at another restaurant we saw an available table open at Oskar and decided to give them a try. The waiter recommended the Steak and we decided to give it a try. That was a great call. The Steak was huge, delicious and full of flavor. Services was great and the waiter was friendly and attentive.

Homey little place, indoor and outdoor seating. Food was great, and had great presentation.

Just happened on this place as I was walking to my hostel. It was around lunch and I still wanted breakfast. They were able to accommodate me with a breakfast sandwich, some delicious coffee and a churro. So good, I went back the next day. The staff was super nice. You can sit inside or out. Great prices too.

I've been told that one of the typical things all people from Madrid do is have a coffee with milk and some kind of bread (could be egg or iberic ham) in the morning, and Óskar is one of the best places to do so. Offering cheap food with a rather interesting and very dynamic atmosphere, it is a place I would recommend for a quick breakfast. Don't stay too long, more guests are always coming in!

It was a nice place for a bite after hectic shopping during Xmas time.

A lucky find right off the main tourist strip of the Gran Villa. The service was fast, the place was filled with locals, the prices were reasonable, excellent tortilla that tasted like it was made in a home kitchen. Not fancy but also not a tourist trap. Good honest food at reasonable prices.

Marvelous experience! After a day of walking, and exploring we were desperately hungry and coming from South Africa we are budget restricted.

After looking at various menu's we ended up at Oskar. We ordered and even before we could properly settling in, our order was placed on the table. It was delicious. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, in quality and range from very simple to good local foods. Friendly helpful guys and full of locals. Coffee the best in Spain so far. Perfect for a quick breakfast while traveling.

As you keep drinking, they keep bringing different finger food, from olives through chips and chorrizo to iberian prossciuto. 10/10 would drink again
