Cafetería Esparteros

Love this busy cafe! It opens earlier than most places for breakfast, 7:30 am. Desayunos such as tortilla, churros, and tostada are simple but delicious and inexpensive. Ten euro will have two people stuffed. Our guy Cesar was friendly and attentive. We liked it so much we came here twice. Take your time and enjoy the Madrileños who come in and out as they start their morning.

Delicious breakfast. Food is simple but so tasty and fresh. They are very busy but service is good.

For being so close to the Puerta del Sol this place is a gem, full of locals who really knows where to go in Madrid! Good service, good tapas, prices still for locals, not for tourists. I will be back!

The breakfast was really good. The pan tostado with manchego cheese and ham was very tasty. Nice little restaurant!

Had churros and porras with hot chocolate, it was all delicious. Service is fast and friendly with reasonable prices. It gets a bit noisy due to the kitchen blenders.

Wonderful experience having cheap and good simple breakfast while observing the peak morning crowd. One of the great memories for us in Madrid.

THE PLACE with unique Spanish Environment with Spaniards, food quality exceptional, nice tiny place to have a classical breakfast to have an excellent Manu good price for value and Spanish Service, Reilly nice place even seems dark or hidden but essential in terms cafes in Spain!

The churros here are AMAZING. It is not that well known to tourists, and not far from the well-known market. It's also pretty cheap, all things considered

Amazing churros and porras with chocolate in an authentic madrilian atmosphere. Great daily menu and nibbles near Plaza Mayor. Love it!
