Restaurante Casa Marco

This was my favourite restaurant that I ate in Vigo, particularly due to the food and the inviting, unpretentious local atmosphere. We made a reservation for 3:15pm and the place was busy and filled with locals. We shared the grilled scallops (fresh, simple but tasty) and I had the Angus steak (400g) which was melt in your mouth, came with a side of vegetables and rice and was delicious. My friends got the lamb and the prawn and fish rice, both received high praise. The service was attentive and helpful.

Really, really good dinner. All dishes exceeded our expectations. The season's mushrooms are a MUST.

What I don't understand is the endleess saxophone cover versions of old classics playing in the background. It really doesn't suit this place. I would love to make a playlist of quality music that matches the super food.

Fantastic! Service, ambience, presentation. We went 2 nights for dinner. Hats off to the chef and his crew, able to observe guests enjoy his culinary delights through the glass. This chef is deserved of every award he receives. Go there, split the starter and main with the mandarin cava and enjoy putting a smile on the faces of those putting their heart into your dinner 🤌

Excellent! We stopped in while waiting for our train and enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had. We had a lentil soup opener that was most savory. We then enjoyed a egg omelette with prawns, greens and smoked salmon. The main course was bacalaho done perfectly. It was a beautiful portion of line caught fish and the best bacalaho I've ever had. Dessert did not disappoint as we enjoyed an amazing vanilla creme with cubed custard and orange glaze. The service was stellar. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Absolutely delicious food! Glad our first stop on the Camino ended up being in Vigo. The mango crab and lemon sorbet starter was recommended and it was beyond incredible. The portions are great too as is the service.

Insist on a nice "Vino Tinto"(Red Wine) w lunch
Never leave without having a "chupito" at end.

You can sometimes have a chupito w alcohol.
Or you can have the after meal coffee without.
Unless you really try both, its hard to judge .
Regardless, this place is amazing either way

Walking the.Camino Portuguese from Lisbon. Best restaurant so far on this trip. Wonderful service, interesting twist on traditional Galician fare, and excellent value.

High quality restaurant experience with remarkably attentive and patient waiters (even though our party was relatively problematic due to an egg and gluten allergy).

The food was delicious, seafood and meat dishes alike. The wine selection is very good, too, with many local wines available in half bottles if needed. At a price point of under 20€ for a 700g high quality T-bone steak there isn't really much else to say. Except maybe that the desserts were all amazing, well balanced, and a perfect finish to an otherwise already great dinner.

Tender octopus, scallops on their shell, tasty prawns with rice and entrecot served with creative side dishes including a lentil broth as an appetizer. A bit noisy because it was full, so we also had to raise our voices to be heard.

Simply amazing. Price range between 15-25 euros each for what feels like a luxury restaurant. The service is great, careful and thoughtful; the starters and dishes are aesthetically prepared and pleasing, and the servings are bountiful.

Came here to have dinner with a friend who recommended the place. The helpful waitress didn't hesitate to explain the menu and some daily dishes that were not included. The meat was perfectly cooked and the dessert with sticky rice and vanilla ice cream with a caramel coating was spectacular! Fully recommend it.

As it stands my absolute favourite in Vigo! Very professional staff, superb starters, stunning mains and desserts which will give you no choice but come back and enjoy yourself again!!! This place is really really good, 6 out of 5! Highly recommended.
