We did the tour of the Cueva- Ermita of San Bernabé. It is a guided tour and it lasts 45 min. Our guide was very nice. There is a 10 min video at the entry. The visit is very nice and interesting but It feels short. They give you a helmet but the part of the cave you visit is big, very easy to walk. You end up in the Ermita where you can see some interesting paintings on the ceiling and walls.

Spectacular !!!! We drove from camping la lunada ( Ajanedo) to this place thought an amazing mountain road.
The access to this monument is well set up and people will limited mobility will be able to access it due to their well set up pathway.
This place is beautiful and full of history.
The tour through the caves is fascinating and great value. You will also enjoy great Mountain views with vultures everywhere. Stunning.
There are lots of great restaurants in the area with great food choices

Nature and mountains are amazing around this. Caves itself are not that great. Very long movie first and it was only in spanish and seemed a little bit childish. I coukd not understand any of it. It would be so easy to text the video in english. Interesting holes to store seads. In the church the painting on the sealing were nicely painted but about different type of torture. All together worth of 4,50 €.

Too bad you need to reserve in advance. No fun planning around if you're on holidays. I hope one day they change that system.
Caves are amazing!!! Would not mind visiting again

Amazing scenery. We did the Ruta El Ventanon walk. Took you to the window. Follow the white and yellow markers. There are proper signposts too, make sure you take the one to Ventanon view point, otherwise you won't see it!! We did the walk anticlockwise and missed the markers going through the village and ended up walking back along the road to the car. There is a cafe/restaurant but we didn't use it so don't know what it is like.
At the car park there is a rare public loo!

With your back to the car park you see a big sign with the walking routes marked out, the ventanon starts behind it.
In the afternoon we did a cave tour, although the guide didn't speak any English. But I love caves so got the gist of what he was talking about. Luckily there was someone on the tour who could speak English so he helped out with a few of the stories!
You need proper enclosed shoes on for it. Also you need to bend down low in a few places to get down low. Also at one point we switched all the lights off so if you didn't like pitch black, you've been warned! A very interesting day and we walked a lot!!!
Bought our own lunch with us so that definitely helped.

It's impressive. A nice place to visit with kids. We were there with our 5 and 1 year old I'm a buggy and it's all accessible and interesting enough. The visit is not too long so the kids did not get bored.

Off the beaten path. Great for young kids since the tour isn't very long.
