La Moderna

We were staying at our friend's yacht in Sant Carles de la Rapita Spain and they very kindly brought us to la moderna for lunch, along with some of their other friends who live on the Marina also.
What a hidden gem this charming little restaurant is.
The menu is very very good. We ordered a selection of tapas for the six of us to share, and the nice thing was they had plenty of vegetarian choices for me.
The food was so delicious, especially the potatoes bravas and the tomato and mozerlla salad, my husband and other friends really enjoyed the eggs and chips dish, I know it doesn't sound very Spanish..but it was.
The premises are spotlessly clean, the decor very lovely and staff helpful attentive and so welcoming to us, very good value for money, including 2 bottles of excellent Rioja it was 35 euro per couple, and that included a tip.
Next time I visit San Carles de la Rapita, I will be back to La Moderna, highly highly recommended

Lloc molt ben decorat i amb terrassa. Es petit amb ho que es recomana reservar prèviament. Tapes típiques i específiques de la Ràpita, com l'anguila. Ideal per sopar tapes O pendre el vermut.

Nos encantó !!! Ideal para un picoteo un tapeo o para cenar. Majos y serviciales. Me quede con la duda de la marca del vermút, muy rico.

Descobert un nou restaurant a la Ràpita. Molt bons els musclos, les ortigues de Mar i el pop. El servei amable i a la terrassa hem estat molt bé. Preu - qualitat molt bé. Hi tornarem.

Uno de los mejores lugares en el pueblo para comer a base de tapas, raciones muy generosas, calidad contrastada, producto muy local y precios ajustados a lo que se come. Los postres son caseros, tienen una carta muy variada, buen surtido de vinos y siempre hay alguna cosita fuera de carta dependiendo de la temporada digna de probar.
Servicio a la altura de lo que comes, rápido y eficiente.
Si estás por la zona y quieres comer/cenar a base de tapeo es uno de los lugares top de la zona.

Tot boníssim, l'ambient és familiar i els cambrers són amables i eficients. Repetirem segur, però això si: primer farem reserva perquè vam trobar taula de miracle.

La Moderna es un restaurant de tapes recomanable per l'oferta de producte de qualitat i una bodega de vins. Vam menjar molt be. L'inici va ser tens per que sembalava que ens fecin un favor. Un punt l'actitud cap els clients a millorar. Si no vols agafar clients digues-ho i no ho facis com un favor fer veure que mires el llibre de reserves tec etc... Un cop entaulats, es un restaurant on pots donar-te un festival i a bon preu. Recomanable 100%
