I loved this place !
The waiters are great and considerate, the atmosphere is really cool, people are having fun loudly and the playlist is awesome (at least today, lots of Queen !).
And the food, THE FOOD ! I had one of my best meal in Spain : the chorizo croquetas, patatas bravas and the cheese were really really good. And I have eaten croquetas and patatas bravas several times since it’s my mandatory meal when I am in Spain.
I can only recommend !

Loved it. Great atmosphere for drinks upstairs, and an excellent restaurant downstairs (you can also have a loud dinner upstairs). Dishes were full of flavour. Highly recommended.

Best tapas in Madrid. Vibe downstairs is great, and food is ALWAYS fresh. Particularly love the Bomba and the Croquetas de Pollo. We come here religiously every time we're in Madrid and are never disappointed.
Make a reservation — it gets busy these days!

Amazing food. Try the tuna from the picture and also the mussels with potato crisps. Amazing!
We also had the crocettes and some other tuna, both good. The Humus was very delicious. For dessert, we decided to share the Tiramisu. Also very good!
Paid for the food, 2x limoncello spritz, and 5 beers around 100€. More than we expected.
The service was super attentive and fast. We loved her! She helped us decide what to eat and loved to give her some extra tip.

Best tapas I’ve had and love their homemade tinto de verano!! The staff is very friendly. Feels like a classic neighborhood bar for tapas and drinks. Also have a very cool downstairs dining room that’s very hidden unless you know about it!

Great music, great service, great drinks, great vibes. Sit at the bar and have a fun time watching the bartenders work their magic! The open times by Google is wrong, we are still at the bar and it is well past “closing“ 12:30am on a Friday, party still strong!!!

Quite possibly the coolest vibe in Lavapies, maybe Madrid, I happened upon this recommended spot for early lunch.
The music, staff, and atmosphere inspire you to sit a little taller and find yourself ready for the next song, dish, and drink. (India Arie came on while I enjoyed my vermouth).
La Esperanza's patatas bravas easily rates among the best - leaving Madrid, I'll remember these most fondly.

Amazing, simple, friendly space with excellent food. Those who don't eat meat could enjoy an artichoke flower (ask without your bacon on top), the best batata brava and slightly spicy ceviche.

The octopus and fideuà were excellent as was the bomba and basque cheesecake. Atmosphere was great a real neighbourhood bar/restaurant.

What a find! Super friendly staff serving delicious, fresh food (with plenty of lighter options to choose from) in a vintage fabulous (but not over the top) setting. What’s not to love?! Great for before or after a visit to Cine Dor around the corner.

We had a reservation for 6 people, and 3 more joined last minute. At our arrival, the staff wasn’t able to accommodate the extra 3, but our wonderful waitress was quick to find a solution, even ending up putting a couple of tables together for us to fit. Amazing work.

The food is also amazing, we ordered a bunch of dishes, more than we could eat, from the amazing artichokes to the fideuá. Our party, from out of town, was impressed with the food, and so was I.

Despite the mess we made with the big table, the patrons and staff were extremely accommodating, helpful and we had a great time! Thanks for everything!!

We had a great night at La Esperanza. Such an amazing menu with surprising combinations and beautiful flavours. We had the Bomba de Barceloneta, Pickled Ansjovis, the Burrata Zuchhini, Stingray and a dessert with Basil ice cream. Gracias!

Great food! The artichoke appetizer, fresh seasonal tomato salad and the burrata cheese with zucchini spirals were so unusual and delicious! Definitely recommend trying these for their flavors. Service was personal and impeccable.
Will definitely return here. Thank you!

Hidden gem. The food is outstanding and the service impeccable. Naçarena our waitress was especially attentive and looked after us & our daughter very well with extra hummus & nibbles! We tried items on the menu of which we had never heard (including a Catalan fish dish with Squid or cuttlefish ink that was absolutely delicious!) I wish we had photos but we ate it too quickly. Very cool lunch spot

They make an amazing espresso martini! Don’t sleep on it! Been here twice and honestly love the vibes and the people here!

It’s a fun place to grab a cocktail anytime and meet new people.

Not a a lot of seating at the bar, but they do have a downstairs.

My favourite place in Madrid! They have fresh food from market, amazing produce prepared with the utmost care and dedication! If someone asked me what's the one place they cannot miss in Madrid.. I'd say this one. Great Vermouth on tap and Gin & Tonics and personal service, the best there is!

The best pulpo and sweetbread and tiramisu in my life! I was so surprised how tender and delicious everything was. We came there almost at midnight and were glad they were still serving food. So we didn't expect much but the place is amazing! Food, dessert, cocktails were all spectacular!
