Lovely helpful people in this bar. We went for a day exploring the area of Karrantza, which has beautiful snow-topped mountains, rivers, pastures and plenty of fresh air if you fancy getting away into the countryside.

As well as croquettes, we had a big pot of beans, black pudding and chorizo, more than we could eat in fact, which they told us is prepared for hunters returning from their day.

We also got some advice on what to do and where to go (Paleolithic hunter-gatherer cave art nearby, about €8 in a taxi), so apart from keeping us warm and cosy, did their bit for the local tourist industry...we would definitely return!
