VERY SWEET PEOPLE create a perfect experience

Stepping into the unassuming pinchos bar nestled in the heart of this seaside town, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation tingling at the back of my tongue. The establishment was devoid of any ostentatiousness. But don't let the understated facade fool you, my fellow gastronomes, for the culinary offerings that awaited me were nothing short of brilliant. If this food were any more authentic, I'd be speaking Euskera by the end of the meal.

As I perused the menu, my attention was immediately drawn to the tortilla de patatas, a classic Spanish dish elevated to new heights by the chef's masterful touch. The potatoes were sliced with a precision that would have made a neurosurgeon envious, and the eggs were cooked with a degree of finesse that could only be achieved through years of practice. One bite of this delicacy, and I was transported to the rolling hills of Gorliz, where the sun beats down on the countryside like a cruel taskmaster.

Next up was the boquerones en vinagre, a dish that I had sampled in countless bars and restaurants throughout Spain. But this version was different, a refreshing take on a time-honored tradition. The anchovies were bathed in a vinegar so tangy that it could strip paint off a wall, but the dish was rounded out by the addition of crispy fried garlic and a touch of lemon zest. It was a harmonious medley of flavors, a symphony conducted by a chef who clearly knows his way around a kitchen.

And then came the chistorra, a sausage made from the lean meat of the Basque pig. The sausage was grilled to perfection, and the juices oozed out with every bite. I couldn't help but marvel at the intensity of the flavors, the smoky richness of the meat complemented by the sharpness of the paprika and the subtle sweetness of the caramelized onions. It was a dish that spoke to me on a primal level, a reminder of the pleasures that can be found in the simple things in life.

Savoring the last bite of the chistorra, I couldn't help but reflect on the brilliance of this bar. The chef had taken the time-honored traditions of Basque cuisine and imbued them with his own unique sensibility, creating a dining experience that was at once familiar and revelatory. And so, my fellow gourmands, I urge you to make your way to this hidden gem, where the food is exceptional, the atmosphere is convivial, and the laughter flows as freely as the wine.

El restaurante muy bien. Tiene una terraza fuera bastante agradable y resguardada del viento.
Ver a las camareras en chándal no me inspira mucha confianza. Un uniforme estaría bien. También entiendo que si el propio jefe no les proporciona, yo tampoco me molestaría en ir arreglado.
La comida rica.

Le doy 5 estrellas pero les daría 10! Comi con mi pareja entre semana y un menu de 15€ el cual es postre era increible y el primer plato bastante bueno y el segundo a mi grata sorpresa te hacen la paella al momento, muy buena porcierto!
La terraza es tranquila comoda y con buenas vistas.

Hoy mismo hemos comido un menú del día. Las raciones más que generosas y los platos muy bien elaborados y exquisitos. El trato del camarero muy amable y la chica de la barra también. Es de agradecer encontrar un sitio como este en un lugar tan bonito. Repetiremos sin duda cuando pasemos por allí, 100% recomendable. Además dispone de amplia terraza en la calle bajo techo.

Me lié con el menú. Los entrantes y luego plato principal. Pensé que era entrantes, elegir uno, primero y segundo plato. Me lo explicó la camarera y listo. Con las raciones que ponen, no te entra ni el postre. Todo muy rico y las dos camareras atentas. Sin duda volveremos.

Menú 35 euros. Comida rica, buena relación calidad-precio. Rico, raciones generosas y bien presentadas.

Un restaurante con una comida de calidad, raciones sabrosas y generosas con una excelente relación calidad-precio. El camarero, amable y profesional, atento a la satisfacción del cliente. Mesas amplias y distancias adecuadas entre comensales. Ubicación magnífica, junto al puerto deportivo. Recomendable sin ninguna duda y al que, cuando volvamos a Plentzia, regresaremos.

Menú de fin de semana espectacular. Salimos rodando!! Comida muy rica, los asados y paella espectaculares. Los camareros muy atentos y amables. Un 10!

Cuenta con una gran terraza, cubierta y descubierta, disfrutamos del sol tomando unos vinos y unos deliciosos pinchos.
Vimos a gente comiendo y los platos tenían una pinta deliciosa. Queda pendiente probarlo para otra vez, volveremos fijo

En week-end sur Bilbao avec mon mari, nous voulions voir la mer. Nous nous sommes arrêté sur la plage Plentzia. Nous avons fait notre pause déjeuner dans votre restaurant.
Merci à Lourdes pour son accueil et sa gentillesse tout au long de notre repas.
Nous avons pris le menu à 35 euros, franchement nickel copieux et très bon.

Comimos en la terraza cubierta, el menú de fin de semana de 34€, muy buena relación calidad precio, acabas totalmente lleno. El servicio muy atento y rápido.

He de decir, en todos los aspectos, Inmejorable.

Un día de lluvia, el menú incluye paella, y ahí que nos lanzamos...
Todo genial, los platos, los tiempos, el local, pero sobre todo una camarera que ha iluminado un día gris y tormentoso con su encantador trato, y su sonrisa...
Muy muy recomendable, saben hacer bien las cosas, y lo mejor: las hacen bien...
