Restaurante La Estación

Second time here in two days. Absolutely superb atmosphere and service. As for the food, one must try tartar de tomates. Is something delicious.

If you are in the area, add Estacion to your itinerary, dinner here is a true andalusian experience. The restaurant is in the train station, with piano/relaxing music, books to lend and a funny cat eager to make friends. The food is delicios and the plates look very good, so good that I immediately started eating and I forgot to take a picture. We stayed in the village for just 3 days and ate dinner here twice.

Amazing restaurant, with great variety of quality meat, fish, Spanish and vegetarian options. The croquettes in various flavours were to die for. Vegetable artichokes below were a delight!. PS. Back again July 2022, so glad it’s reopened after Covid and the food is once again amazing. Tomato tartare starter is pretty special for sure!

Went for a dinner. It was a gorgeous atmosphere and very beautiful and the staff are very friendly, chatty and welcoming. Food is amazing. I definitely recommend it.

VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! In capitals because if you are vegetarian, you know why. I had the veggie burger which was delicious and loaded with toppings, and a nice thin pita style bread. Served with potatoes and mixed tempora. The children shared a vegetarian lasagna and loved it. All finished full up. My husband had salmon and he said that was delicious. There were many more options both for omnivores and vegetarians - about a page each. Makes a change to have equality 😉 All very tasty food, and friendly staff.

We pre-booked a table for 4. I did ask the possibility of us bringing our two dogs as we were away from home celebrating a 50th birthday. This, said the owner, Nieves would not be a problem.

We were warmly welcomed to a outside table close to the platform. The service was exceptional and the food was mouth watering. All of us had wonderful starters and mains, with me personally having the artichokes followed by Iberian pork stuffed with local cheese and Jamon Iberico. To our surprise, a cake was brought out to us at no extra cost to celebrate our friends birthday. The setting is surreal, whilst enjoying wonderful Andalucian cooking, all of a sudden, a train either passes by or stops meters away from you. Quite an experience!

Overall, great service, wonderful setting and excellent food and wine, all at very reasonable charges.

Have eaten here several times over the last 2 years with relatives who live locally. The owner is lovely and the setting is quirky but authentically beautiful. A still working train station converted into a Restaurant. The food is always delicious, on previous occasions we have eaten in the evening but this time it was for Breakfast, allow plenty of time, not because the service is slow but because the Spanish take their time to put the world to rights over breakfast :)

Super Quality, great ingredients, and very caring staff, all together a wonderful experience

This is the real deal. From the excellent warm and welcoming service to the cost atmosphere and of course the great food. We had the best dinner we've had in a long long time. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing little restaurant placed on the train station at San Pablo. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was really nice and cozy, and the staff very extremely friendly. Overall a great experience on every front.

Quiet peaceful area with excellent food and service. The only disruption you will experience is a passing train every few hours as this is after all a train station!
