Very good food. Great service, with waiter asking us whether we wished to speak in French, Spanish or English. Very welcoming. Tasting plates very good, tapas same as everywhere. Recommend the aubergine, and cod. Steak a little overdone.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends at this restaurant. My husband and I had a lovely paella and delicious tapas for starters. We actually had lunch there the day before and was so impressed by the wonderful authentic delicious food we had to go back with friends the following day. Very attentive and friendly staff.

An historic restaurant. Lots of very famous actors have dined there and there is a wonderful gallery of their portraits. (Daniel Craig, Sophia Loren, Omar Sharif and many more!) A must go to restaurant to dine in. Thank you to all the staff for making our dining out experience in Almeria memorable.

First meal in Almeria on Saturday afternoon and it was fabulous! The waiter was very patient with us as we only had a handful of Spanish words and he had limited English. Thank goodness for Google Translate! We love paella so we ordered the Seafood Paella for 2 at €15 per person. We've ordered paella in Spain before so expected a long wait. Wow! It was worth the wait! It was tasty and moist, though the squid was a little tough but we were forgiving as the rest of the paella was spot on.
It was a very hot day and we had built-up a hearty appetite after visiting Alcazaba. Sat outdoors under an umbrella.

I was here for a late lunch. The set menu was good, not to big, which I always appreciate, to much courses becomes really hard for a chef.
The staff was attentive, and tried their best to explain (they had poor English and I have an even poorer Spanish😅) but there was no difficulties mordering at all, the waiter was so helpful😃

I didn’t try the tapas! But I assume they do well, because of the good cooking.

Fantastic food, wine and service. Cannot ask for anything more. Food was incredible and the wine they had on promotion was amazing. I would highly recommend.

We ate lunch here and had the Menu del Dia, and what a meal it was, I had the chicken and rice and this was excellent and my wife had the Tuna Salad which she said was very good.
The waiter was very good indeed, efficent and pleasant.

Excellent place, food is phenomenal and service is impeccable! I don't understand some reviews saying that service is slow, it's super fast and tapas are included with drinks so if you just want to come for tapas it'ss perfect! Highly recommend it
