Restaurant in a Petrol service station in the middle of nowhere for a really eclectic experience mixing good traditional Spanish food and service, a roadside restaurant mood anchored in the sixties, where a drive was almost an adventure and a stunning wine list, one of the best ones in Spain with no doubt.
A place to not miss if on the way

We were on our way to Lisbon and had to use the restaurant and stumbled into this restaurant. Wow wow wow! Great food, service and price.

Outstanding highway restaurant. Their daily menu is something to look for before ordering a la carte.

Very good food, great friendly service and price very decent. We will go next time for sure. About 40 minutes drive from Madrid. Their specialty is roasted lamb and roasted pig, but lots of other choice on the menu.

If you are on the road and want to stop for a cool byte , this place has really good fish and of course “Castillan lechon”

The meat was cooked perfectly and the wine selection is superb. Service super friendly and quick. Definitely recommend if you like dishes cooked on a traditional setting and you are a meat lover

The food is excellent and you have to try the desserts (especially the carrotcake) !! I wasn't expected such quality !

If it happens that you are around in this part of the world this is the place you must stop for a meal. Service is excellent, food very good, prices are...european. Go for the cochinillo and you will not regret it, it is the speciality of the place. You can sit at the bar but the prices are only slightly cheaper, so better go for the restaurant.

Do not miss this place. Unexpected, unbeliavable, incredible,..... just walk in and look around . Not delicatessen shop&restaurant but more of a food and beverage jewlery . Not easy to see 10 bottles of PETRUS on shelf surrounded by the most exquisite juices. And if you order a quick snack. "Torreznos" or "iberico" the only thing you need to say. Next time with more time I will delight myself with a 3 course NO DOUBT.

One suspects the owners are always on duty as everyone is always so on the ball, crisply dressed, helpful, attentive.....whether you are buying a case of Petrus or just a cana of beer. It's an ideal stop when driving home to Extremadura from Madrid.....get the Madrid traffic behind me (it's on the 47 km peg) ....and Las Esparteras beckons for that cold beer and a bite.

(someone told me this place is popular with large (wealthy) hunting parties, which accounts for the incredible wine cellar. I queried the price of a particular bottle of Petrus in the large glass cave......€14 000. hmmmm!
